Once a Thief
The story I am about to tell is a true one, sad, but still true. Emily, Holly, and Jenny were all 14, and grew up together, which makes the betrayal even worse. During a time when Emily's grandparents were in town, all the grown ups get together. Well the 3 of them wanted to go do what 14 year old girls do, go see boys in the apartment complex Emily lived in. Emily and Jenny were super close friends, (or Emily thought so anyway) even called each other cousins. Always there during hard times, Holly showed Emily a side of her that Emily didn't even know existed. A cruel side, knowing that at the time, Holly was Emily's only friend, she used it to her advantage everyday, and in the future part of this sad and true story, she remained the same as she was as a 14 year old bully, just grew into a 37 year old bully.

Visions of Grandeur
Ray thought he liked his neighbors…but the kids were a little noisy. When he and his family moved from Wisconsin to the small western Kansas town during the 60’s he had no neighbors. But that was fifty years ago. The little wooden shack that was established during the 60’s was the same he currently lived in. Time had taken its toll on the building, but Ray had done his best to keep the place nice. Over the years, the wooden shutters needed replaced, the door refurbished, and the roof re-shackled. The windows had never needed attention. The quality of old windows far surpassed the quality of modern glass.

The Torturous Drowning Murders of the Farquharson Boys
There is a common misconception that drowning is a painless and quick death. This couldn't be further from the truth. For nearly ten years of my thirty-six, I was a lifeguard. Drowning is not a quick nor a painless way to go. Especially when you're trapped inside a car while it slowly fills up.

Seattle Unknowns
I want to try something different. For the past several years now, I have been engaged in web sleuthing. If you’re reading this, you most likely already know what this is. I have enjoyed scouring through databases like the NamUs database and the Doe Network, searching for any John or Jane Doe case that might have some small sliver of information that might lead to a positive identification.
