Spending 24 Hours inside the Most Racist Town in USA
During the peak of the protest, everyone despised this place

How It All Started
Surprisingly, the movement started back in 2013 when Zimmerman, decided to falsely accuse a unarmed Black teenager.
The same accuser shot & killed the undefended youth and claimed that it was an “act-of-self-defense ” As we know it, this sparked the renowned Black Lives Matter protest which reached global headlines.
A short video was uploaded of a person standing & holding a Black Lives Matter sign inside the most racist town in USA — Harrison, Arkansas. Millions of people watch it only to see the lashing remarks made by drivers.
Spending 24 Hours inside America’s Most Racist Town
One year later, three Asian teenagers decided to explore the heated-destination out of “pure curiosity”
Trying out different activities and talking with the locals to share the real-life experience inside Harrison, Arkansas.
It’s legal here to carry a gun,
After parking at Walmart, Sheldon and his friends met their real life encounter of people carrying guns.
It turns out, residents actively have a handgun —hidden or not. Fortunately they did not encounter any problems and went shopping as planned.
How Other People Reacted When Asians Walked Inside Walmart
Trying to maximize the challenge, the groups spend 30 minutes just randomly walking through the store and receiving plenty of awkward glances.
Not a single person receive any verbal abuse during this duration.
Eating at a Chinese Restaurant,
After leaving the grocery, they went straight ahead to the nearest Asian restaurant they could find.
Sheldon and his friends ordered and have a chat with the owner:
Sheldon: “We saw a video online and this video said that this is the most racist town in America”
Restaurant Owner: “I’ve been here for many years but nothing has ever happened… I haven’t experience anything at least HERE nothing has happened,
Maybe in big cities but not really in this small town”
Something just doesn’t add up,
The experience of Sheldon and his friends where smooth sailing and they hadn’t gotten to any trouble — which is fine, until you realize that the racist-phenomenon doesn’t exactly fit this town
Which begs the question, what seems to be wrong in the first place?
The Final Test — At a Local Bar
If there was any place where they will encounter any racism, it will be here.
Sheldon and his friends decided to order some drinks and place the camera strategically hidden. Things where quiet until they we’re approached by a random stranger,
A random person approached them saying:
If you type in on Google, ‘the most racist town’ We pop up. Super sadly. Yeah.
Only the old generations are racist.
Josh shared that people who are in the old generation are the one who are racist but slowly the culture will evolve and accept diversity.
“Honestly, I’ve been here, I’ve been out. It is an extreme hardback cover title of Harrison that’s not always true.
The old generations, yes, yeah. But I mean, it’s a growing town. I don’t see it staying that way for long. ”
You won’t believe what happened next,
After Sheldon and his friends are sharing their realizations with Josh (the stranger earlier) They we’re approached by a local.
It was her birthday and she wanted to invite them over.
Conclusion:
Even if it is known as the most racist town in America, that is soon bound to change with the overflowing amount of young people who are taking a stand to change that.
