A Letter to a Friend
Dear Friend: Look, we need to talk. I took in what happened the other day, when you looked in the mirror and said you hated yourself. Maybe you were only talking about the way you looked, I don’t know, but it sure felt a lot deeper than that when I heard it, the way I heard it. You really have to be careful with your words; they have power and energy and a vibrational resonance that you react to whether you realize that or not. It’s proven science, you know, so even when you say things like you’re joking, you know the words can still do damage.

Continued from previous episode..... “Please, Come in.” Said the principal. “Good Morning Madam Principal. You requested me here.” I said while entering the room, that’s when I saw two police men standing beside her. I froze. “Don’t Panic, take a seat please” she said. I took a nervous look at the two standing police men, and sat down at the chair placed in front of her. “Thomas, I hope you did know Tanya Gonzalez. Did you? If who was she?” asked one of the policemen “I did, she’s my best friend.”, “Then I believe this is for you. You are to read it loudly. I hope you understand.” He said handing me a green envelope. I saw “To: Thomas Richard Clossel” in the most beautiful handwriting ever, it didn’t take time for me to understand it was Tanya’s. I tore open the letter swiftly and was reading the first few words alone when the Other police man interrupted “Child, please you are ordered to read it loudly” “Umm, ok sir”. And started reading as if I was in Primary Grades,

Continued from Senior Year June 1, 2004 The evening of graduation and Bette had taken a nap in the afternoon before she got her cap and gown ready. The school used to rent nice ones, but in the last few years, they switched to ones that were basically disposable. That night Bette wore a sleeveless teal V-neck blouse, a denim knee skirt with her black leather belt, and Mary Jane shoes. She stuck a white-out pen in her pocket before she left her bedroom that day. She prepped her backpack with a change of clothes for the all night graduation party that would immediately follow the graduation ceremony. All the students would board buses and go to the event center and get locked in and have food and sodas and get to enjoy the place all night with games, fun, and entertainment. The same event center Bette and Ozzy went on for their first date. Before leaving, Bette and her family had dinner at the house. It was a simple dinner of tacos, fruit salad, and flan for dessert. Bette's grandmothers and grandfather came from out of town for the dinner and ceremony. There were lots of pictures taken in the yard of the house. When John and Lorna took Bette to the ceremony, they let her know that they would leave Lorna's car at the event center for after the all night graduation party and Bette could take it home. John and Lorna volunteered to do clean up at the party and hadn't told Bette about it until the drive to graduation. She wouldn't have talked them out of it, she wouldn't have been embarrassed by them, but she was surprised all the same. She just thought she was going to get picked up by John in the morning. The car was a last minute surprise if she wanted to go out and get breakfast with her friends or anything like that. They gave her the car keys and she stuck them in her backpack. They dropped her off at the local college gymnasium where the graduation was held before parking the car. Public North's auditorium didn't have big enough accommodations for the graduating class, families, faculty, and band; weather was always too iffy to have it outside. As soon as Bette was dropped off, she took out the white out pen from her pocket and got to work on her cap. She wrote on the black cap "❤ MOM & DAD." Where her parents were up on the gymnasium bleachers, she knew they would see it.

This is going to read as some cautionary tale of the perils of online friendships so let me begin by saying that this is not my first rodeo with a toxic person.

If I was a magician I would have saved all my powers and tricks for this day when i went overboard with the overdraft of my best friend bank account. I had just started a job with two rideshare companies as a delivery driver. In order for me to get paid I needed a traditional bank account and not a prepaid card. So my best friend who was my ride or die had a bank account that was just in hibernation. Not even having a second thought, I quickly asked him could I use his Navy Federal Bank account for my pay/ he said here is my account number and pin number, just make sure you keep it in a safe place. I said Thank you so much , I truly appreciate it. You are more than welcome Will, that’s what fiends are for right. Yes sir you are absolutely right. As I proceeded out the house to pick up my next order, the wheels in my head started turning. So I I started this 1 man conversation with myself saying i need some extra money so that I can turn up a lil bit this weekend, and I'm not going to get paid until next weekend. Umm, I wonder if he has that overdraft protection on his account. I’ll see if i can withdraw that and then i'll just pay it back once I get paid. I just have to find a way to put it back so that he wont find out.

You can call me Frank. A couple of years ago, having little or no interest in pursuing a relationship that was heading nowhere, and nothing particularly exciting going on in my life, I thought I would accept my girlfriend’s invitation to sail about for a week on the majestic Lake Champlain. It seemed as good a time as any to determine if I would leave her or not.

When it comes to confessions, it doesn't get much better than revenge via saliva and soggy bread. We all have roommate drama. Whether it's because of a romantic interest, jealously, making too much noise early in the morning, or because the gossip got out of hand, it's almost always there. Well, mine was the toxic concoction of all of the above and more.

A wake isn’t exactly a first date, or the last one either. I suppose this one could be considered a beginning as well as an end. Things ended that day, but nothing ends without something new growing from the ruins.

Biggest Strikeout Ever T Marin and I had decided to go to the cabin for the parents were staying home and we felt we needed a few nights of peace and relaxation. Now if you’ve been reading any of my posts neither of us did peace or relaxation very well, it had been snowing in Big Bear for the last week or so and the drive would be long and arduous.

Idaho 1 Me 0 So late last summer Tim Ure and I decided to go camping, we’ve both watched every season of Alone so we figured we were ready, I should have figured better. This may get embarrassing for me, but what the fuck, I’ve embarrassed myself so many times already it’s become standard fare.

Firsts. Alone Flying to Spokane, Washington on my way to Eastern Washington University I had several things parading through my alleged mind. First and foremost I didn’t know a soul and I’d never been up this far north. My parents had gone to a thing called Marriage Encounter at EWU and liked the area, so they strongly suggested I make my way up there, and of course I did.
