Dating
The Same Guy
THE SAME GUY My family always has little, small family gatherings and this is the time everyone gets to bring the spouse/partner out for everyone to meet. Normally my guy is at work, and we have only been dating for about 3 months. So, at family events, I always brag about him, but never once did I mention his real name, I always call him by his nickname which is CJ. My cousin also has a new guy they have been dating for about 2 weeks and both of our guys work in the same place and his name is Chris. So, as we go on about how they are, we notice that both CJ and Chris have so much in common and I felt very weird about the outcome, and I just had this awful vibe about both being so much alike.

Chocolate Confessionals: Entry I
Whenever I mention Montana, literally everyone thinks of half-naked cowboys. Not only that but the kind that works pretentiously hard just to have ladies see sweat gleaming on their firm shoulder blades, in the heights of the afternoon sun. So, I no longer try to explain the wonderful culture, the people, the vast farmlands, and the serene creeks that are all a part of who I am. This made it even less enticing to explain to people why I really left home.

Finding Love in a Dark, Dingy Pool Hall
The day I am beginning to write this, it is our 3- year anniversary. It is crazy how time seems to fly, yet go by so slowly at the same time. Around this time, I always look back to the day we met and the first months of our relationship and falling in love. At first glance, you wouldn’t think Michael and I would work well together, and I think that is what makes us work so well.

Life is the flower for which love is the honey.
The flower that blooms in adversity is the rarest and most beautiful of all. This couldn’t be more true, and it’s always a joy to find these flowers of life while they are flourishing. If you feel like your life right now isn’t what you envisioned it would be, don’t despair; if you haven’t given up on yourself yet, there is still plenty of time to make something great happen.

I Survived my Long-Distance Relationship. Top Story - March 2022.
*This article was origninally posted on Medium. If someone told me five years ago that I would end up moving halfway across the country to be with my forever partner - I would've said that couldn't be true. In the past, I would have never considered the thought of committing to a long-distance relationship.

Lies, Lies, Lies...
Can someone care and lie at the same time? In my opinion, I don't think that's possible because if you care or love someone so much you should tell them the truth when you lie but in this world, no one really tells the truth sometimes. It just depends on if the lie will hurt others in the process. To be fair, I am the last person that should judge anyone for not telling the truth about something. I'm not a saint when it comes to telling truths because I had a few lies I told as well and I'm not proud of that.

What would you tell your 20 year old self about Women?
As Doc Emmett Brown said in “Back to the Future III”, “… the other great mystery of the Universe — women” I know that everyone’s experiences and maturity were different when they were the tender age of 20, but in my case, I was one fresh, immature individual.

Mommy Issues
On a first date, my expectations are simple: Look like your dating profile, Ask me questions, and Don't bring up exes. My guy had the first two covered, but he failed miserably with the last one. Would you believe me if I told you I know about his ex's dating history? How about his ex's parent's job titles and salaries? Or how his dad hates his mom and so does he? No? Well then have I got a story for you.
