Jack of Vibes Studio! The Hero of the Day!!

Before Jack’s career He relocated to the Modern day Lagos city of Nigeria in the early twenties to seek a brighter fortune.

As faith would have it, he had a blood relation- brother who resided in the said city of Lagos at the time and was offered a place to stay with the single brother at the time.

Back in 2017, Jack lived with his elder brother for two years buzzing and job hunting in Lagos, as he had finished up his National Youth Service before travelling.

Securing a job was not fought–coming not minding the social personality and influence of his Elder brother. On one of the days of his job hunt his lack of finances dragged him to seek a job in a construction site to get his daily bread; after several failed white collar jobs attempts.

On that fateful day something happened that changed his destiny for life.

On his activities on that construction site as a laborer he ran into his brother’s neighbor unknown to Jack was a civil engineer in charge of the building.

Surprised seeing Jack, Mr. Seyi shouted Jack: what are you doing here!?

Have you not told your brother you need a job? …he asked....Jack not knowing what to say was tongue tied…Jack was so critical with talking down on people no matter what wrong was done to him…. So, telling Mr. Seyi his brother has refused to avail him a job because he wanted him residual as a domestic staff or house help… was somehow for jack coupled with the surprise of seeing Mr. Seyi and Jack was a very shy guy made him dump-founded.

So, Mr. Seyi quickly told Jack to come and see him later at home in the evening….Jack accepted and thanked him.

Later on that day, about 06:30 -07:00pm Jack went knocking at Mr. Seyi’s door to see him. Curiously, Mr. Seyi asked Jack if he could do a bank job and Jack quickly said “Yes” Mr. Seyi went further to say his wife who was a staff of one of the prominent banks then was given a slot for employment and the interview was tomorrow and gave jack details for the interview.

Jack’s brother was not in town at the said time but jack was able to make it to the interview very early the next day and got offered a job as a service Executive with the job role of tellering –a personnel cashier with the then First Eastern Bank of Nigeria to resume the next day.

Jack with the good news returned home happily. Finally, securing a job to start up life and chase his Dream. Keeping up with a banking job was a tasky one as many shied from a bank job for its strenuous and tasky nature but Jack was out for a way to raise money…so he happily took the offer and resumed the next day well dressed and ready to work. Few days later, Jack from understudying the Tellers for cash transactions was transferred to a front desk customer service officer in charge of account opening and financial documentation due to his smart and work conscious nature.

All seemed nice and going. Customer service was a whole new game for bank workers…it required more time and overtime jobs to meet up with short turnaround times of operations. Oh Jack was now in the banking system….learning a seat facing customers with no form of prior training. Few days before Jack’s resume….the bank had laid off most of its contract staff in the branch and already had replacements sent to them.

Little did Jack know he was up for a whole now game…..talking all day and working 7am-8pm on a sit he was not pre-trained. Somebody had to occupy the seat and start learning on the job…but why does it have to be Jack the newbie...? Everybody ( all the other old staff) were avoiding that seat because of the bulky nature of the job…Jack was in for it… everybody said…but Jack was not on their page…all he wanted was something to do and start getting earning… so he can chase his dream! Little did he know…But what really happened to Jack after that?
