Permanent makeup is a technique of applying makeup with a permanent pigmentation that resembles real and natural makeup such as enhancing the colours of the skin, improving the eye lining and accentuating the lips. One of the most common applications is to create artificial eyebrows or to disguise scars due to a surgery or an accident.
While you may be mourning as the heat and sunshine recede, the leaves change, and it begins to snow as one season passes into the next, you can find comfort in the fact that colder temperatures mean that now is the time to change up your makeup. During the summer, when you know you will spend time sweating while you're away from a fan or AC unit, it can seem useless to spend a lot of time on your makeup. In the winter though? Makeup brightens up an often dreary season. This is the time to experiment with layers of eyeshadow, full-coverage foundation, long, fake eyelashes, and the best eye makeup looks for winter you could ever imagine.
BB creams and CC creams are a very new and unique innovation in the makeup world. They have been around for quite some time now and they have all the potential to take the place of your foundation. Whenever you are not in the mood of applying foundation on your face, these products can come in really handy. They are great for everyday wear and they also give you the flawless finish for your “no makeup” makeup look. It feels like your own skin, just better.
As soon as you feel the summer humidity hit, it is officially time to swap out your full-coverage foundation for its lighter alternative, the BB cream. On humid summer days, layering on a thick foundation, just for it melt off as soon as you step outside, can seem completely pointless. But for those who refuse to go completely bare-faced this summer, a Blemish Balm is the perfect solution. Providing essential hydration as well as complexion enhancing coverage, BB creams are fast becoming the must have item in your summer makeup bag. So, whilst a BB cream is essential for achieving glowing summer skin, the British summer is famously short, and it is important that a Beauty Balm serves your skin needs this season without breaking the bank. To save you both time and money when deciding on the product for you, here are three drugstore BB creams at amazing price points to celebrate right now!

Riddle me this: You wear makeup for the majority of your adult life, and one day, you decided to go natural. People start asking you questions like “are you okay?” And “were you running late this morning?” Or they make a comment like “you look so pretty when you wear makeup.” Am I right?

I started incorporating eyeshadow into my makeup regimen in early 2015, and let me tell you, I was horrible at first. I've never been one to ease into something... no, I go head-on. So when I started doing eyeshadow, I didn't start with a subtle or easy look, I tried a purple smokey eye about an hour before I had to leave for church on a Sunday morning. To date, this was one of my biggest makeup mistakes! I was determined though, and before long, and after numerous YouTube videos, I could do a very not-bruise-looking purple smokey eye, as well as many other eyeshadow looks. I did my sister's makeup for her wedding, and then the next year my friend's sister's wedding makeup as well! Over the years, I've had lots of fun trying out various eyeshadow palettes, some high-end, some drugstore, budget friendly palettes, and a few in between. I'd love to share with you my favorites today, as well as tips and tricks!

I started wearing makeup when I was 21 years old. As a woman I KNOW that is a very late start. I was never the one to gloss over my face, or blend, or compact something in my face. I actually had "bad skin" as a young person, so naturally I started using acne products. I had buckets of acne cremes, toners, moisturizers, and masks. I had tried everything on my face to clear my skin, so I did not even want to add anything else! I was also a tomboy. I never liked to be super feminine, and I just knew that was who I was. I am, and was, sort of a shell of a woman, but on the inside I really was just searching for peace, and self love. I realize now that makeup enhances, and is a form of self love. All women including tomboys can invest in themselves in this way!! Here is my routine!
