Tired
It’s been a couple of years since Squidge has released new music. With an outstanding response to their first EP, What’s The Point to Care? (including songs like "Disappear Reappear" and "On The Mend") and a lineup change, it’s a good job something is around the corner. And their next release is exciting.

So before we get rolling, let's explain what this is all about. Music totally dominates in my life. I hear it almost all day. I grew up singing, playing trumpet and listening to any genre I could find or that came my way.
Winners OnlyPublished 4 years ago in BeatLIVE Review: Mirrorgloss
“Let’s GO! That’s a vibe!” a concertgoer shouted at besties Del Brown and Najamoniq Todd, the dynamic duo of the electronic, pop heart-throb Mirrorgloss. Visiting from Tacoma, Washington, Del and Najamoniq left everything on the stage at The Iron Bear Tuesday night. Opening the night with their song “I Wonder,” Mirrorgloss brought the dance drip to SXSW from start to finish. With a powerful and charismatic stage presence, Mirrorgloss’ set was defined by positivity as they delivered their message of self acceptance and love.

It seems the world has effectively fallen in love with Billie Eilish since her first song released on SoundCloud, "Ocean Eyes"—went viral in 2016. With the release of her current title, "Wish You Were Gay," people are a little less excited and a little unhappy.
Christina St-JeanPublished 4 years ago in BeatRemember to Breathe: "Knock Yourself Out" Review
Adel Toay started a pop-punk project called Remember To Breathe based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This project has had influences from some of the greats such as Blink-182 and Yellowcard, as well as the early 2000s pop punk and 90s emo music. They signed with Loud, Broke, & Dumb Records for their debut album Lessons on Getting Out and Growing Up which released on October 28, 2016. They have toured through the Midwest and opened up for notable rising acts such as Remo Drive, Belmont, Household, and many more. As an up and coming Midwest pop punk project, I suggest that you keep an eye out for them as there is a definite future ahead! They released their new single "Knock Yourself Out" on March 8, 2019.
Mackenzie CoberleyPublished 4 years ago in Beat"Run Boy Run" by Woodkid Review
I enjoy running, I also enjoy listening to music, a combination of both creates a sense of home for me. Before I go on a run, I usually pick a random radio station on Spotify to listen to, and I’m well on my way. I like putting my list in shuffle mode, so that I can expect the unexpected. If I like the song, I add it to my playlist. There was this one song on a run that rang beautifully in my ears. The song was "Run Boy Run" by Woodkid. I found that the title of the song was ironic because... well... I was running. Prior to listening to this song on Spotify, I only heard the intro of it being played over a meme depicting someone running away from something. I never heard it in its entirety.

Music: it can move you and it can make you move. From happiness to sadness, fear to calm, it is a constant in most of our lives, be it listening in the car, getting pumped up during a workout, or the soundtrack to a movie or show. Most of us will excitedly play songs for family and friends, trying to share a new favorite or deep lyrical content… but then there are the ones we don’t share. The one-hit wonders that are quickly forgotten about and left deep in the recesses of our mind or hidden for us to jam out with in the car. Some of these are really great, some are not. Here are ten of my least favorite one hit wonders, yet even as much as they suck, most of us still catch ourselves singing or humming along:

Migul CruzPublished 4 years ago in Beat"Going Bad": Music Video Review
"Going Bad" is one of the top charting singles from Meek Mill's album Championships. It’s a very boastful record that doesn’t have a much deeper meaning or context. It mainly is championing the success of Meek, who has gone through so much. This is the peak, the “Championship.” Seeing that he’s won against so many past struggles. And these struggles have motivated him to get to this point.
Release RewindPublished 4 years ago in BeatJosh Pfeiffer Transcends Genres with His First #1 Country Hit
Mostly known for his classic big band/swing era-type performances, Josh Pfeiffer is pulling out the surprises in 2019 and demonstrating that he’s not just a "one-style only artist." His latest single, "One More Time," proves his ability to appeal to an even wider fan base—and in this case, we are talking country, y’all!
Nikki Gaskins CampbellPublished 4 years ago in BeatSik-K: Hip-Hop’s Next Big Thing
When it comes to the Korean Hip-Hop scene, there are few artists hotter than Sik-K (both figuratively and literally). Signed to H1GHR MUSIC, the 24-year-old has actually been around since 2013, debuting with the Young Hot Yellow mixtape, an admittedly impressive effort given the lack of experience possessed by the artist at the time. Fast forward to 2019 and Kwon Minsik is ready to take the world by storm. With an upcoming world tour and numerous successful releases to his name, it’s easy to see why more eyes are starting to fixate on someone with all the potential to be a future megastar.
