DON ALTAE SHARES NEW SINGLE “TOXIC” LISTEN HERE

[September 18, 2020] Today, Virginia artist Don Altae shares a new single, “Toxic.” The pensive and honest release is a direct conversation with a partner about their changing love habits. Through a smooth instrumental and introspective lyrics, Don Altae teaches you how to understand your partner’s unspoken language so that you can avoid a similar situation in the future.

“Toxic” is proof that Don Altae understands the language of love, because heartbreak exists inside of its lingual walls. Over a churning beat that gives him the space to open up about a relationship, he questions a partner and their changing demeanor. His words ring true as we’ve all been in similar situations, where the love doesn’t hit the same as it used to. Don Altae’s latest is a necessary listen for anyone in a relationship or people that have just gotten out of one, to either reflect on their experiences or learn what not to do to come to that point.

About Don Altae

Don Altae is a rising artist that splits his time in both Virginia and Kentucky. Over the last couple of years through songs like “Assurance,” “Eye Pad,” and “Wit It,” he’s been able to captivate fans with his unique take on R&B and hip-hop. When he was younger, he used a karaoke machine to record his music after becoming inspired to break into the industry and, over time, he graduated to other mediums while also picking up the craft of beatmaking to add to his creative arsenal. He’s poised to take over 2020 and beyond with his unique mix of rhyming that’s impossible to forget.

“To me, hip-hop and R&B are more than just about writing on paper and saying the words into a microphone, they’re about purveying a sultry seductive poem to your audience that speaks to the essence of your character,” he says in a statement. “It’s about expressing the way you feel to the world and taking in your feedback and energy and transferring that energy to the next song. The mic is what I vent to — it's my get away from it all. Music simply comes from the soul, heart, mind, and body, in a four-pronged street harmony. I reach out and touch others with my street harmony in a way that others can relate to and make a positive impact on their life."
