Matt NappoPublished 7 years ago in BeatTop Industrial Bands
Industrial, also known as industrial metal, is a subgenre that blends the dark side of metal with the synth-heavy sounds of techno. It's the genre that has given many teenagers and young adults an outlet for their rage, grief, and raw energy. It's also one of the few music genres that tends to be inextricably linked to goth culture.
Ossiana TepfenhartPublished 7 years ago in BeatAmazon Music vs. Pandora
Many have heard of and interacted with Pandora's internet radio sensation, but just last January, Amazon has attempted to enter into the internet radio craze itself with Amazon Music Unlimited, which they are offering free 30 day trials here right now. So, which one is better? Well, I started my own free trial to see what the big deal was.

I’m randomly listening to Bryson Tiller’s debut album TRAPSOUL, thinking, "Damn, just one more month.” Then with a simple tweet notification, my wishes were granted. We’ve been waiting for this for what seems like forever, and I have a few things to say about True to Self.
Sadé SanchezPublished 7 years ago in BeatBest Indie Rock Bands
We're pretty sure that VH1 has done at least one list ranking the best indie rock bands of all time. Indie rock has been around for longer than hipsters have been in Brooklyn, and the fact is that many of the biggest movements in music were sparked by good indie rock bands and their unique sounds.

Ossiana TepfenhartPublished 7 years ago in BeatThere's Every Kind of Beautiful
There's Every Kind of Beautiful is a song of celebration, the essence of which is to advocate personal individuality, as well as diversity. The song acknowledges that each person is unique and beautiful in their own way. The fundamental idea is that each individual should embrace their individuality and seek to become the best version of themselves as opposed to striving to be an imitation of somebody else.

Chelsea DeVriesPublished 7 years ago in Beat#MusicReview: DNCE debut album will make you D-A-N-C-E
Song by Song DNCE review "This ain't water but it floats my boat" is my favorite line on this track. DNCE considers their music to be dance pop and this track is no exception with vintage 80's rock music vibes. The intro opens with vocal scales with them introducing the simultaneous name of the track and the name of the band.
Chelsea DeVriesPublished 7 years ago in BeatMoonlight
"Moonlight" is a mid-tempo love song that expresses the foundational appreciation that one person feels for another. The first verse places emphasis upon the fact that outward circumstances do not come between their existing relationship, including the concept of distance and time passing by. Furthermore the varying changes of their journey have actually strengthened their connection.
Geraldine TaylorPublished 7 years ago in BeatSurprising Songs That Were Written While High
Songwriters have always had a lot of inspiration from the various substances they've enjoyed. Mozart was a huge fan of alcohol as a form of inspiration. 19th century composer Berlioz wrote his Symphonie Fantastique under the influence of opium. Even Beethoven was known to smoke and drink while penning his favorite concertos.
