The World of Music in 2018
The music industry is a weird place. It's a place of creativity, collaboration, and community because it spans internationally. Music is one of the best things that's on this planet at the moment. It becomes an everyday thing, there's music wherever you go and people can't seem to live without it.
Jonny PaulPublished 6 years ago in BeatThe Best Two Weeks of My Life: Part One
I'm sure a lot of us can say "2017 was the worst year of my life." I know for sure I can say it. It's not because of politics, and not because of all the chaos that's happened. Nine days into 2017, I lost the most important person in my life. I lost my mom.
Katherine RuizPublished 6 years ago in BeatConcert Experience: Jon Bellion
Jon Bellion. Songwriter, producer, rapper, singer, performer. You get the whole package with Jon Bellion. Jon is from New York. He makes it very clear in some of his songs that he absolutely loves New York, and it seems like it has really inspired him. His albums, The Definition, Growth, Translations Through Speakers, The Separation, and The Human Condition are some of the greatest albums released in this generation. They're real music.
Beka BishopPublished 6 years ago in BeatWhat It's Like Being a Concert Junkie in Canada
It's 2017 and I am sure that there are many Canadians out there that understand the struggle of being addicted to going to concerts. I can also assume that there are some people that may read this confused. So let me try and explain this situation better and easier for some.
Mandy PetitPublished 6 years ago in BeatThe Best Concert Experience
When you hear a band for the very first time it can be amazing and very emotional. I say emotional because sometimes a song let alone the band themselves can touch you like nothing else can. The words they sing, relate to your thoughts and relate to you as a person.

In 2019, the Vans Warped Tour will mark its 25th anniversary. Sadly, this summer will be the last year the tour will run. Warped changed me as a person, and it definitely kept me going throughout the school year.
Raven VorheesPublished 6 years ago in BeatThe Boss on Broadway: A Once in a Lifetime Experience
When Bruce Springsteen announced earlier this year that he would be doing a Broadway residency, many were unsure what to expect. Would he play for fours hours like he did last year? Or would he mix things up every night?
Alex GoudgePublished 6 years ago in BeatTo The Person That Doesn't "Get" Concerts
I have been to more concerts than I can count on two hands. Just in these past few months, I have been to more (and spent money on more) than I would like to admit. My best friend and I have become known as the girls who are "always at concerts." Recently, a friend of mine asked me "Are you ever not at a concert?" Just earlier this week, my own mother told me "I hope you don't spend all your Christmas money on concerts."
Coldplay's Chris Martin Performed An Incredibly Moving Tribute To Linkin Park's Chester Bennington
When Chester Bennington, the frontman for Linkin Park, died on July 20, 2017, it left a hole in the music industry. Two weeks later, the tributes are still coming in — most recently from Coldplay's Chris Martin.

In the spirit of Giving Tuesday, there are so many worthwhile charities that one can donate to. One charity that has absolutely changed my world for the better is Wigs and Wishes.
Megan RochePublished 6 years ago in BeatFun, Dreams and an Adventure of a Lifetime: Recalling Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams Tour
“This was our first chapter. From now on we’ll only be full of surprises,” was recently posted on Coldplay’s Facebook page upon completion of the A Head Full of Dreams Tour in Buenos Aires. The sentiment reinforced the mysterious cloud of uncertainty which hangs over Coldplay’s future as a band. Chris Martin has alleged on more than one occasion the band’s seventh album, A Head Full of Dreams marks “the completion of something.” He’s also proclaimed he doesn’t envision another proper Coldplay full-length in the future. While it doesn’t sound like the band members themselves know for sure what lies ahead for the best-selling rock band of this century, it seems all but guaranteed it’ll be some time before we find out what will come next.
