I personally received this album from my father-in-Law without knowing that Paul McCartney part in it. I know, I know, newbie move and eternal thanks to him. Once I put the album on my record player it was revelation! To me, this album is an incredibly good piece of musical art.

"Norman F*****g Rockwell" by Lana Del Rey | Album Review
In past eras, Lana Del Rey played the Submissive Woman with little repentance: on Born to Die, she was an upper-class harlot; on Ultraviolence, a metropolitan sugar baby. Even as she stepped into more autobiographical (Honeymoon) and socially-conscious (Lust for Life) territory, the women in her songs often sang to their men with a slavish kind of surrender.

Fave Albums of 2020
Some of these albums I didn't even remember came out in 2020 as most would say 2020 was a meaty year. I also included eps since they're basically short albums. If you listen to the playlist, get ready to experience emotions of happiness, escapism, sadness, empowerment, love, and more. It contains over 2 hours of songs and about 40 artists. Some of these artists collaborated with people who also had new albums this year which was awesome. There is probably an artist from each main genre. My Spotify Wrapped said I discovered 307 artists. Some of these are artists that you've most likely heard of and then there are some that you might have never heard of. These albums are in no specific order. To clarify the style of this blog, I was planning on submitting this to a challenge but missed the deadline.

Tristania Albums Ranked
Vibeke Stene's new band, Veil of Secrets dropped a new album in November and I thought it was really good. It reminded me so much of the earlier Tristania albums and I had a list of things I wanted to write and ranking Tristania albums was on there. They're one of my favourite bands and even though they've been on a hiatus for a while, I really hope they release some new music next year.

Garbage Albums Ranked
One of the first songs I bought on iTunes for my iPod Classic was #1 Crush by Garbage. I had stumbled across it on Youtube and fell in love with Shirley Mason's sultry vocals. The moaning in the track's introduction is a great touch to the song and helps make the song sound sexy—the depth of the lyrics and hard-hitting music. Listening to the song makes me think of the '90s now. The 1990s brought a renaissance to many music genres, particularly grunge and bubblegum pop. Garbage, in my opinion, falls into neither of those categories. Garbage is a great rock band with an alternative flavour.

Taylor Swift's evermore Album Review
Notwithstanding the fact that most of us are still in a pandemic, Taylor Swift has taken matters into her own hands and dropped yet another album this year in 2020. Swift's first album, released in 2020, was titled folklore, and I have yet to listen to it all of the tracks fully. Many people have speculated that there were many easter eggs in the music video for "cardigan" and other songs on her album. With that being said, I have been informed that there are also theories that some of the lyrics in Swift's folklore album are a follow up to her evermore album. I am aware that it is insulting to review what seems like a prequel to a sequel, but I connect more with evermore for some odd reason. That is the sole reason why I am writing this review.

Review of 'McCartney III'
I was never one to look for differences between the Beatles on their individual own and when they were The Beatles. To my ear and soul, Paul, John, George, and Ringo on their own sounded far more like The Beatles, captured and continued their extraordinary essence far better than any other artist. Sure, some solo numbers sounded more like The Beatles than others. I heard "Ticket to Ride" in Paul's "My Brave Face," and when someone told me it evoked "Things We Said Today," I could immediately hear it.
