Introduction I was pulled out my copy of "Close To The Edge" by Yes, my vinyl copy, which is a 1974 original, I assume. It features an inner sleeve with loss leader albums available to residents of the USA and Canada for just $2.

'Olias of Sunhillow' Climbs 50 Summer Mornings
In the period from 1975 to 1976, following the release of and touring for progressive rock band Yes' Relayer album, the members of the band each went on to do their own solo album. One of them, which is the topic here, is lead vocalist Jon Anderson's Olias of Sunhillow, released around the time of this article 50 years ago. This was the last of those five solo albums released during that period, and Anderson has talked about how he locked himself up for months to finish the album. The result, an album where all the singing voices are Anderson, and where he plays all of the instruments, as arguably as solo as one can get.

Feline Like A Song
Introduction I was not sure that I had already done and looking through my stories I don't think I have. I didn't think there were that many songs that related to cats apart from those from Disney films and "Love Cats" by The Cure, but then I started to remember that there was quite a lot in my collection. The beat generation referred to the cool ones as cats so there may be a few where the feline referral is more than a little ambiguous.

The Put Down (You Got A Lotta Nerve To Say That You're My Friend). Content Warning.
Introduction I am not sure what prompted this, and I don't normally do pieces that are maybe negative towards others, but a line from Doctor John Cooper Clarke came to mind, that reminded me of a Graham Parker song that reminded my of the Bob Dylan song where almost every line is a vicious put down.
