I don't know about you, but my music taste is a bit all over the place. I guess this is fitting really, as so is my head and generally my emotions too. Music is one of the ways I tend to express and control my emotions, as the "story" in the song tends to change the way I feel. I think this is useful as a coping mechanism, as it allows you to cheer yourself up or get a little of the bad out in a healthy way. Anywhoozles, here's my list. I'll try to keep it mostly positive.
The 'A' GirlPublished 6 years ago in BeatTop 10 Best Taylor Swift Songs
This is it. This is the list you've been waiting for. Let me start by saying one thing: This list was very difficult to form. I have been listening to Taylor for a really, really long time so most of her songs spark certain memories and feelings from my life, as it does for all of her loyal listeners (which is one of the things that makes Taylor so special, right?). But trying to narrow down ALL of her amazing songs into a short list of 10?! It was hard. Maybe I should have done a Top 20. Or 30.

I've recently discovered that I have a similar music preference as most, but for some reason I still have a knack for finding the buried, emotion striking tunes that are scattered across music platforms. I put together a playlist of my most recent discoveries. :) The Spotify link to the playlist can be found at the bottom of the article.
Jacob RydalchPublished 6 years ago in BeatBen’s 10 - Billy Joel
Billy Joel is my favourite artist and has been since I can remember. I have grown up with his music and seen the Piano man live multiple times, with each one being an unforgettable experience. Whilst most people are familiar with the big hits: "Piano Man," "Uptown Girl," "The Longest Time," etc. I think that many of Joel’s best songs are not necessarily those that you’ll find on his greatest hits album. Below are 10 songs that you may not know, but should definitely listen to if you’re a fan of Billy Joel.
Ben ParrishPublished 6 years ago in BeatYour Playlist for Next Week
Today I thought I'd post something a bit different. Over the past couple of weeks I've been discovering and dipping into a lot of new and different music, so I thought I'd make a quick playlist of songs that I've been loving and write a bit about why I love them so much.
Sara Al MahdyPublished 6 years ago in Beat50 Songs to Add to Your Halloween Playlist
One of the first heralds of the Christmas season, for better or worse, is the switch over of music from normal, everyday popular songs to reindeers and Santas and snow. It surrounds you in shopping malls and in grocery stores. Why don’t other holidays have their own soundtracks? Why can’t we switch over our radios and listen to those other holidays’ music?
Crysta CoburnPublished 6 years ago in BeatSeptember 2018 Playlist
Music has always been a huge part of my life, and a huge part in how I find and express myself. I make Spotify playlists every month, and have for a little over two years now, and those playlists prove to be mini musical time capsules to document my feelings throughout a month; a reminder of what my life was like during a certain time. The playlists aren’t always necessarily filled with new releases, but more so new albums and musicians I have stumbled upon that resonate with me.
Victoria BrownPublished 6 years ago in BeatMy End of Summer/Beginning of Fall Playlist for 2018
These are a few of my current favorite songs. I have a very broad taste in music genre-wise and I try to incorporate something for everyone. I include a little description for each song (I know that for some of them I ramble on and on, but I just love the songs so much y’know?).
