How to Always Save the Day
There is a wonderful technique I have started to use that has changed the course of my life. It was taught to me by a friend of mine, and I would love to share it with you. First, I must give you a word of caution. This is a technique that can improve and help you in every facet of your life. Through the use of this method, you will feel elevated, uplifted, and vibrant. You will start to uproot problems in your life by eliminating things that no longer serve you. You'll be able to tell the difference between essential and nonessential.

How to Breathe for Success
I read a study that said the average person at rest takes about 16 breaths per minute. That same person would be taking around 960 breaths per hour. Following this trend, that's about 23,000 breaths per day, and +8,500,000 breaths per year. Assuming they exercise, this would come out to around 672,000,000 breaths in a lifetime if they lived to age 80.

Pain VS Pleasure
I once read a passage that taught me about our inner motivating factors. This passage explained that we are all motivated by two things: we either move towards pleasure or away from pain. Have you thought about what makes you move? Have you pondered on what propels your progress?

Knowing Your Value
Where would you rank yourself on a scale of 1 to 10? Would you say that you are average or above normal? To rank yourself at all would be a comparison. Comparison can be the thief of all joy. They say that imitation is the greatest form of flattery. But there is no better alternative for authenticity. In a world where many are trying to be like everyone else, does it become harder or easier to value yourself?

Boredom Is a Choice
I'm sure you've had this feeling. You're in the house watching TV. You're at work and hours seem to be passing you by. You're checking your phone during the day. Scrolling the feed because you're hungry for something. Anything to grab you for one moment. Anything to take you away as an escape from reality.

New Thoughts, New Things
One morning I was washing dishes at my family's house. I noticed my uncle as he walked into the kitchen. He had gotten ready for the day ahead and wore a nice shirt with shoes to match. "Good morning," I said. "What are your plans today?" His response took me by complete surprise.

How to Stand Out
"Everything in this world is a hustle, but when you do something different than the next man you stand out." This was told to me by one of my passengers on a Lyft ride. At first I didn't think much of this saying, but after some thought I realized its profound insight. This particular phrase would continue to stick with me on my journey of self-discovery.

How Young Are You?
How young are you? No really. How young are you? Notice I'm being very intentional with my words. Often we say, "I am ____ years old" but how often do we call ourselves young? While driving one of my passengers for Uber, they introduced me to a wonderful philosophy. The idea is that we are all young. We are young if we want to be, choose to be, and believe we are.

Fear's Favorite FoodTop Story - February 2019
Facing fear is something we have all had to deal with. The fear to do ... The fear not to do ... The fear of success ... The fear of failure ... We all face different fears in our life. Yet there are ways in which we either increase or diminish our fears. We don't have to let them control us but this can very much be the case. Often we find that, if we are not careful, we may end up strengthening the very things are afraid of.
