4 Interesting Tour Facts About Costa Rica
So, what brought this American Black female to Costa Rica? Costa Rica was always part of my bucket list since high school. And that was, um, quite a while ago. Originally I tried to get to Costa Rica via Nicaragua as part of a high school service project. I simply did not have the money. And my family was literally considered at the poverty line or probably below it.

Edit Your Photos to Sell Your Product and Brand
Ask any entrepreneur and he or she will say that this profession is not for the faint of heart. A majority of entrepreneurs begin by funding their own business. And this means we are a one person show. For me, this includes everything from making my products by hand and from scratch to taking and posting the product pictures and listings. Branding is important. But you can’t really brand unless you actually know what your mission is and what you and your product stand for. For crafting entrepreneurs like myself, this often is directly or closely tied to our personal lives, journey and history.

Two Truths And A Lie
When you get into the world of astrology, it’s truly a whole new world—or rather universe. Like a club, astrology comes complete with its own lingo and abbreviations. For example, Sagittarius becomes “Sag”. Or people might start asking you where is your Moon? And what is your Venus? Some people sound like they are ordering something fancy from Starbucks. Others sound like they are describing their sexual preferences and lifestyle.

You're Not Grace!
Anna quickly glanced at the smooth, leather cover of the black notebook in the passenger seat. She knew the importance of such a small notebook. After all, she has one just like it. Well, sort of. Anna’s notebook is soft leather, rather than hard. Hers is a pretty matte purple, instead of shiny black.

Powerful Presence And Music With A Message
For every genre of music, you will note Black artists spearheading the creation and progression. And Black women have certainly made their mark on the music industry through the centuries. The Black female musicians highlighted here were chosen based on two main factors: a powerful presence and music with a message. With so much rump shaking bordering on pornography and nonsensical lyrics of much of today’s music, it is refreshing to have a reminder of the greatness that paved the way for modern musicians. I am in awe of the barriers these women breached; standards they set; and progress they made, much during very difficult political and historic times. These lovely ladies are presented in order of when they arrived on the scene—their birthday, that is.

Lemon Livens Up Your Life
It is easy to take the humble fruit of lemon for granted. Think about it. How many times have you heard someone proclaim lemon as their favorite fruit? As a kid, I know I used to love eating lemons raw. But then again, I’m just an unusual person all around…so I’m told. As an adult, I have come to appreciate lemon in all its capacities. But my love for lemon did not truly flourish until I became an herbalist. Through my studies and practical uses and applications on lemon, I kept finding more and more to love about lemon.

When Happily Ever After Ends
Forget those fluffy flowers, saccharine sweets, and crafty cards. When you know the true origins of Valentine’s Day, you might realize that getting balloons, a teddy bear, roses and chocolates is not all it’s cracked up to be. Depending upon your situation, you really might make out better being alone and/or celebrating a holiday, belief, or spiritual practice centered on true love.
