Backstabbing Vocal Teacher
Mrs. Adeena loved when a new student came in for vocal lessons. Someone who didn’t yet suspect how she ran the studio. She loved her favorite student. Her niece Anna Grace. She wanted them to look good, so she had to put her in with a loser, or at least someone to be made into a loser. She had to mess someone up on purpose. Lorna came into the studio as a sweet and kind girl who wanted somewhere to sing and was excited that the studio: Chorus of Crayons had recitals.

Why Halloween is better than Christmas 🎃
1. There is more choice to spend it exactly how you want to: During Christmas time it is expected that you eat a meal with the family and get everyone a gift that they open. With Halloween, you can either throw a party, watch a horror movie, dress up, or give someone a gift if you want to or not.

I want to be a YouTuber too!
As soon as the internet first came out, like many excited about the new way to connect, I wanted to get on and post. We all first started with myspace and slowly went to other social media forms. One of the bigs was when YouTube came out and creators like FRED were able to gain traction for their silly videos. This made many people my age want to post too. I used to post videos and not really think anything more of it than I was sharing what I was up to.

The Monkey with His Umbrella
Before writing my first story I had dabbled in some poetry, trying to figure out different patterns and poem types. Using the blank book in a writing class was the first time I was told to write an entire story while coloring pictures with crayons . The Monkey with his Umbrella was a story that came to me because of seeing a Madeline episode where a monkey steals her umbrella from her in the zoo.

2014 Snow White
Not out yet, but let’s talk! Andrew Burnap’s character will not be a prince. No prince? Couldn’t Disney at least put one that helps grow Snow White as a character? What about someone they expect her to marry but chooses different like Beauty and the Beast? How will this go?

Olive’s Ocean
“She tried to imagine what it would feel like to be hit by a car… A mail truck sounded its horn as it thundered past and Martha could feel its power. The force blew her hair away from her face. She winced; even her toes tightened.” -Olive’s Ocean

Modelland was a Missed Opportunity
When Tyra Banks came out with a novel called Modelland it was made fun of and eventually went out of print for being such a chaotic novel that didn’t really catch on. I believe it was a missed opportunity for a good concept about a world where people were trying to become models, but as soon as they make it to model land, they realize it is not exactly what they wanted.

Sammy the Slug talks to the Happy Snail Family
Based on Hans Christian Anderson's Fairy Tale: The Happy Family. With references to The Match Girl and The Leaping Match. Sammy the slug had heard about how the snails liked to be cooked as escargot for the richest of the humans, but he wondered if that was really the best way for them to go. Sammy knew the snails wouldn't listen to him though because to the snails they were lesser-thans because they did not have shells on their backs. “Are you sure you want to burn yourselves alive in the end?” Sammy slug asked Sherman the snail from the family.
