How to Last a Couple Extra Days in Between Shower Days
I've read several articles that claim that washing your hair with shampoo everyday dries out your scalp and hair. Some articles will tell you to shower about once a week, and others might say shower about twice a week. Really, I think it depends on how active you are—for example, if you workout every day, and what your skin type is (dry, oily, mixture). I am no dermatologist, so please take what I say with a grain of salt. This is my opinion and experiences I am sharing with you.

Attempting a Bojutsu Class for the First Time
With starting Jiu Jitsu lately, I had been searching for another sport to try as I love a challenge now. Playing around on Google and Facebook, I was looking for a martial art that I might want to try, and what's offered here in the city. "Bojutsu."

Is It Okay to Leave a Book Unfinished?
There are some books I have bought, read the back of it with a brief description and most likely read the first page or two, and I have not finished reading it once I actually got into it. I would try to force myself to finish reading it because I like a challenge and I have never hated a book so much that I just gave up on it. Instead what I tried to do was keep it on my bookshelf still marked where I left off and attempted to pick it up again but every time I looked at it, I'd think "Meh, I don't want to go down that road again".

I Thought I Would Be a Strict Dog Owner
At my parents' house, we never locked up the dogs unless they were puppies and still in the process of being house trained. They roamed free during the day when we were gone for school and work. Rachel (my sister) and I would come home from school and the dogs would come racing to the front door to greet us. Mostly, it was Lady, our little, black Cocker Spaniel that would ALWAYS bring us one of her toys to show us, but never let us have. We were definitely easy going dog owners at my parents' house.

Attempting a Jiu Jitsu Class for the First Time
As a kid, I remember wanting to try some sort of martial arts sport whether it was karate, tae kwon do, or Brazilian jiu jitsu. It didn't matter as I thought they were all the same. In case you don't know, they aren't. I was intimidated to ask my parents if I could try it, as I had no idea how much it cost or if they would approve as it was a more "masculine sport" that normally had young boys enroll. Now as an adult, I regret not asking them. Who knows now if I would've gotten involved and what kind of person I'd be today?

'Milk and Honey' Review
Shopping at my local Walmart for some groceries and some household items, I came across a paperback copy of "milk and honey" by Rupi Kaur. Everyone has been raving about how great this book was and all that jazz. I was intrigued by why everyone loved it so much, that I wanted to check it out myself. I am a huge bookworm, and I have been trying not to buy a single book for a while since my "To Be Read" pile is never ending. When I decide to give in, I then end up buying at least two books. Yes, I know it's a problem, but hey I'm not addicted to drugs or alcohol, I'm addicted to reading and buying books. Completely different. Anyways, back to my story...
