I love games, particularly those of the 5e variety, and, go figure, I like writing about them.

The Darker Side of Valentine's Day
Most everyone knows about the origin of Valentine's Day. It is the feast day of St. Valentine, celebrated by the church to honor two men named Valentine who were executed on the fourteenth of February--though they were put to death in different years. It is also a celebration of love, in which people exchange cards, gifts, and flowers. But what about Lupercalia?

No, You Can't Sleep With Keanu ReevesTop Story - February 2021
Cyberpunk 2077 seemed to have everything going for it--flashy gameplay, sexy and slick graphics, and an engaging story line. It was hyped to the point it felt like a crime to not own the game. Many aspects have been disappointing since the game's debut, running from the simple (textures glitching) to the extreme (bugs that break quest lines and block advancement into the game further). But perhaps the most disheartening factor of all: one cannot have a relationship with Johnny Silverhand, the character created in the likeness of the incredibly breathtaking Keanu Reeves.

Hallmark Christmas Movies Are The Worst (And Best)
When one thinks of Christmas movies, people tend to think of the classics like It’s A Wonderful Life and Miracle On 34th Street. Or maybe more modern cult favorites come to mind like A Christmas Story or Home Alone. Most of us enjoy these films though we may have seen them a few dozens times or so and have them memorized by heart.

Discordia
There’s always fire. I hear the sounds of the waves of the ocean crashing to shore. The salted air creates a hunger within me that can never be satiated. The night sky is filled with stars innumerable and I can see the galaxies swirl and spin. I fall to my knees in the sand, scraping my skin and breathing in salt and smoke and ash.

Early Access Games: A Roll Of The Dice
One can’t help but cringe a little when a game is labeled as ‘Early Access.’ Valve’s Steam allows developers to put their unfinished games up for sale. Sometimes the cost of the game can be reasonable, with others, it’s the price of a completed game. Unless a studio is well-known, it’s a gamble on whether to purchase a game or not. But even still, if a developer is well-known, there’s always the off chance their product might, for lack of a better word, suck.
