Ignorance and Frustration
It is great to be in a time when children are being listened to, to have grown and accepted we are not alike. It is funny when to hear people say when we were raised with spankings, and we did not turn out bad, well yes, we did, we grew up resentful, unable to express ourselves and in turn we treat others even our own kids with that same callous roughness. We do not disavow what we questioned when we were growing up, because our parents told us that is how it is, or it is because we say so. That was not an answer and had we pointed this out, well, we all know what would have happened.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH
The party that claims voter fraud, is the one on which proof of fraudulent voting has occurred, a republican man mailed in his dead mother’s ballot for Trump, another if Arizona voted twice. Of course, that individual -Trump- claims fraud because he is a walking lie, as the results of the 2016 election were. Because in that year he was assisted in winning by the dictator and assassin known as Putin. Once again, the party of projection has told us what they are, by accusing others of their crimes, transgressions, deceits and lies.

PROJECTING AND REFUSAL TO SEE REALITY
Disturbing to realize such life changing matters are left for a handful of individuals more concerned with material gain, than truth. Oppression of masses has existed for as long as humans have existed, usually a small group of individuals have risen by any means necessary and in so doing subjected the masses by keeping them hungry for food, starving for knowledge, and humiliated by need with lies and wishful thoughts no one really believes. But they cling to said hopes just to not be so overwhelmed by the misery around them. From the very beginning of our existences we are lied, told fantastic stories of flying birds delivering infants, of a kind of kings born on a day when we are given material things wrapped in colorful papers. And an ageless man flying on carriage being pulled by wingless herbivores will deliver to us as his obese frame slides down a small opening on our home’s roofs.

UNIFY
Why do we forget so quickly? We witnessed these acts of violence, blatant racism, and disregard for human decency, and yet we get distracted by another similar act, or settle for a police officer being fired or resigning. And while the victim endures pain for the violence to which they were subjected, the culprit gets to go about his or her business without a care in the world. Is this really justice, is this fair? And -let’s not rely on the cliché life is not fair, to excuse this type of transgressions-.

FEAR OF CHANGE
Watching the hate, racism, homophobia, and xenophobia openly plaguing our nation nowadays, I realized to my surprise I was brought up to be just like that. I spent a few years in the South American nation where I was born, and aside from a different language, principles and bottom line are so much alike that it boggles the mind. We are taught to dread everything that is different, we are taught to fear change, there are names, usually, demeaning to designate members of a different culture. Dismissing insult as nothing but a jest. As far as any gay individual, they are outright insulted with disgust and condemned to hell, if such horrendous behavior is not curved. And of course, religion, is shoved down our throats as the only true way by which to exist, and abide by teachings, that superior being demands from us all, otherwise, be sent to that place of extreme suffering, pain, and hopelessness…Does this place seem familiar?

FOR REASONS BEYOND CONTROL
I thought at first when I was small. Those adults always seemed to speak loudly and because they were taller, they appeared larger than life, intimidating, vicious and relentless. I soon realized calling them that was giving them too much credit. Their boisterous and overbearing attitude is a way to conceal cowardice. When confronted, they scare easily and like rats scurrying back into the gutters. They do not deserve being held in such high esteem, because such attribute is far beyond their limited capabilities and will power, something they could never achieve and do not even know exists. They remain indifferent; weaklings who excuse their narrow-mindedness with words of serenity and logic to explain the inability for wanting more and expecting more. Conformism is always excused as the will of a god and hardships are always caused by the government. They deceive themselves into believing in a reward afterwards, peace and contentment that will be placed at their feet by some deity, something that they know it is not true. Otherwise, they would be happy and always content with the crumbs they possess and must survive with. They know deep in their hearts they are barely surviving and rejoicing for nothing, only enjoying brief moments of glee that soon are overshadowed by a harsh reality of needing and wanting. They feel oppressed by those small abodes they occupy, continuing to add inhabitants because they cannot control themselves and see their already small portions being reduced by yet another mouth. They cannot breathe; too many lungs seek the precious oxygen from a space already crowded. Movement is hindered by overcrowding. They cannot stretch, condemned to a packed space where they cannot express what they feel, for voicing such words would take away the space they detest but cannot escape. They cannot say what they feel, and if they think it, they do not reveal it, for such utterances may cause great grief. Religion is used as an excuse for remaining in an unsatisfactory status quo — the foundation for all religions, otherwise how could nature maintain its evolutionary perfection?

DOMESTIC TERRORISTS
This is disgusting and outrageous. Criminals and terrorists have stormed the House. They trespass on a federal building and threatened the welfare of elected officials, who were in the process of certifying the newly elected president and vice-president. This was atrocious first because such criminal behavior was incited and called for by the man in the White House. A man who wants to be a dictator, -just as those he admires the likes of Putin and Kim Jung Un-, he told his followers to march to the capital and take control, but in a peaceful way.

FOR REASONS BEYOND CONTROL
that doesn’t take into consideration who or what may be in its path. Then again, I wonder if perhaps they move in such haste to avoid being bothered by what doesn’t affect them. This apathy is perhaps a defense mechanism that has evolved throughout time, allowing them to survive from one day to the next. Because day after day, they must face cold and rainy mornings, afternoons with an oppressive sun that instead of giving warmth and comfort, stings like needles pricking the skin, and end the day with cold and usually rainy evenings. Once I was asked if this place has any redeeming qualities. The reply was quick, “Yes, it has airports to get out as soon as possible.”

FOR REASONS BEYOND CONTROL
Naming the location where everything that follows took place would only exonerate other places just as culpable of atrocities such as those described here and perhaps worse. You might say, “Oh see, that’s not us, that all happens in other places.” No, what follows is an eye-opener to the disregard of basic human decency that is ignored by those who perpetrate brutalities daily. These culprits either choose to remain ignorant or close their eyes to what transpires right underneath their noses. They turn a blind eye because they have resigned themselves to a status quo of cowardice that keeps them precariously safe in an existence riddled with misery, hopelessness, and ignorance.

PANDEMIC IN THE TIME OF INEPT LEADERSHIP
We are facing a pandemic, people are dying while many others are being rushed to hospitals with symptoms of this horrible disease, -covid-19 or Corona Virus- And that lying criminal who is supposed to do everything in his power to heal the nation, instead goes on television on a daily basis to play down the situation, and criticize governor’s for asking for assistance and accusing them of being overly dramatic.

ELECTION DAY
The day for change is in 9 days. Election Day, the day for all of us to vote out an ignorant, racist, lying, corrupt and sexual predator as the scum that has occupied the White House for the last 4 years, and along with him rid the nation of his cohorts, who excuse his behavior as not being the indications of a want to be dictator. It is the day, us, those who believe in respect, decency, acceptance, justice, ethics, accountability, and compassion, have been waiting for since that corrupt, lying traitor was elected in 2016. The day when we tell white supremacists, and the rest of that scum that supports the current resident in the White House, that we believe in fairness.
