Peacock Feathers
Pride is a guest who can be rather difficult to deal with. On the one hand, he's necessary because we indeed should have deep consideration of him when completing tasks. On the other, too much of him is rather off-putting to those around you. Also, he does curtail growth. How? Each time we resist the well-meaning advice of others, he causes us to do things in the same way we used to.

Scattered Jigsaw
Interaction with my twin nieces today brought to mind the subject of apathy. I am not only an aunt, but their English teacher as well. Teens often fall victim to apathy. Gathering information about homework can prove a little challenging, oftentimes with delayed responses.We all know that the teen years involves some apathy and disconnect.

The Imperfect Storm
The perfect storm. We hope to live through them, especially those that we create, deliberately or otherwise. Yes, I'm referring to anger. We give in to frustration at work nearly every day. Our children's annoying misbehavior riles us. The thoughtless words of a spouse nettle us.
