Negative experiences in life can leave us jaded. So jaded, in fact, that we may jump to conclusions when we have a negative experience similar to one we may have encountered before.

We may not want to eat clams because we've eaten rotten ones before. We may not want to attend parties because we've had negative interactions during such events.

We shouldn't allow these experiences to curtail us or prevent us from meeting others. We may miss the opportunities we deserve. Let's try to suspend judgment and bias if we want others to do the same. Some empathy for others will increase our returns of the same. Of course, we should seek diverse perspectives on topics so that we remain aware that there are many possibilities in life.

A blank slate for all to write

Pure white and diverse

Many things we see.
