Maximum Area
Seeing life spark in Mat's tired eyes brought a grin on what should be my face. In a flash my body ascended into the vent where I originally came in through. Mat called out to me before I was out of earshot, "Are we done Z?" Dipping back into the room one last time I said, "For now".

Planning
I inhaled sharply as my body curled upward into a fetal position. Utter terror gripped my body as the bell rang in my ears. Having no concept of time I heard a loud knock at my door when the bell finally stopped. Ed's muffled voice said, "Hope you're feeling better, me and Mat aren't going to dinner unless you come with us." Rolling my eyes I got up to yell, "I'm coming, I'm coming!"

Dracula's mansion
Seeing a mansion in the distance I asked, "Is that where you've been staying at all this time?" Seeing Chase just nod from the corner of my eye filled me with so much envy I blurted out, "I hate you so much." Hearing him chuckle made my blood boil, he knew I didn't mean that. Resisting the urge to hit the driver I crossed my arms for the time being.

Hunting:
This is my spin on the story of Dracula and Van Helsing. Growing up I had only seen portraits of Dracula on the church walls. Most of the paintings were of when he was still human and shortly after turning. He was always waiting in the shadows. The more gruesome ones were found in the training room only. The church's oath was to find and exterminate Dracula once and for all. No matter how many times the church tried to put an end to this monster the following night there would be a written note with 'I live' -D. A middle finger would be drawn just underneath.

Recovery
Being cradled in Ed's arms distracted me enough to make the pain bearable. Feeling the light overhead begin to sting my eyes I buried my face against his chest. While doing so, I took the chance to bite down on my lower lip to keep from screaming. Feeling Ed's heartbeat pound in my ear comforted me. With my eyes closed all I could see is Nurse Ratchet grinning down at me with a dull rusted scalpel in hand.

Interrogation. Content Warning.
Feeling the soldiers grip tighten around my arms as they dragged me down the hall made counting the steps hard. I could barely think straight with the shock they put me through. The sound of a keycard being scanned for a door to open told me I was in some deep shit now. The ceiling was covered with high volt light bulbs beaming down on me. I could barely see a bed in the middle of the room.

Blind Spots
Glaring daggers at Ed through my glasses I said, "Turn the light off". Watching him go towards the lamp I slowly got off the floor. I didn't have time to do my morning stretches and my body ached with every move I took. As he turned the light off his door automatically opened. I moved to the closest corner and said, "I need to tell you something".

First night
As the metal door slid behind me there was a barely any room to breathe. With confinement like this who needs a coffin, I thought. Three seconds passed before the door in front of me opened. Seeing Ed and Mat waiting for me on the floor I asked, "Does that happen every time?" Both of them nodded their heads. After rolling my eyes I took in the bare walls and saw that the room we were currently in was about the same size as the library. Ed commented with, "This is one of the few rooms that doesn't have cameras watching us." Mat followed with, "From what I know this room doesn't have any hearing devices either, due to me." "So we can talk freely here?", I asked and they both shrugged.

Solitary
The sound of doors closing behind me filled me with rage. Slamming my fists against the doors must have muffled the sound of someone coming my way. A peppy voice from my left shocked me into a defensive pose. With my body in a boxers position I turned to see a petite young lady within arms distance of myself. "You must be the new girl they mentioned earlier, my name is Hannah", she extended a tiny hand out to me. I looked down at her hand while crossing my arms over my chest. Hannah dropped her hand quickly slightly embarrassed by the weak smile she tried to give me. The sound of someone coming our way alerted the both of us. My head turned to the left to see a tall lanky person with dark hair the length of their shoulders come around the corner.

Being born Non-Binary
Ever since I was a young kid I felt different compared to everyone else. As if I was some an alien pretending to be human. While being a teen I was had so many thoughts of self harm and suicide. At the time I didn't know the true reason I was feeling this way.
