I've used Talkspace for a total of one year (six months beginning 2019 and six months beginning 2020), and my ultimate decision is to step away from them indefinitely.

When I stepped out from under that looming shadow of financial, emotional, physical abuse, that was my first escape.
At the supermarket, picking up some fruit like a responsible adult, a lovely old lady struck up a conversation and shared her favourite plum pie recipe.
That wonderful feeling of catching a snowflake in your hands, when you can examine the perfect form, so fuzzy, so symmetrical.
If you ask if I am rich, I can confidently answer — I have enough. Enough so that I’m not living paycheck to paycheck;
It sounds passive-aggressive but I truly mean it. If you’re not ready to hear the alternate perspective — I move on.
