The Magistrate
They called it The Laboratory and we never knew why. It seemed like an abandoned warehouse. The light was this eerie green and we honestly rarely saw anyone go in or out. Everyone told stories about alien experiments and government secrets. A couple of mixed drinks, a game of truth or dare and the chance to kiss a pretty girl led to a trip outside the lab. We didn’t know what we’d find but we didn’t care either. We were just college kids. What did we have to lose?

The Magistrate: The Jade Token
We’ve been best friends since day zero. Born literal weeks apart and lived a mile away at most. We played pretend together, chased girls together, hell we even trained at the same military camp. The gods had a hand in that, I’m sure. You and I were never friends. Brothers. Now we’re a part of the same resistance tribe. We’re the most lethal unit this tribe has. I’d give my life so that you may live a heartbeat but… there’s no guarantee you’d come out alive because of it.

The Magistrate: Prelude
These aren’t a collection of cautionary tales about going against your government. This isn’t a social commentary about what could go wrong. This is a simple statement. Karma is real. The energy you surround yourself with determines a lot about how your life goes.

Kotaro Lives Alone Review
I wouldn’t call myself a major anime fan. I’m fond of Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Jujitsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia and the concepts for many more basic anime shows. I wanted to get that on the table before I started my review of Kotaro Lives Alone. If that discredits me so be it, but I want it to be known that I am by no means an expert on the subject matter.

In a World…
Imagine to yourself that somewhere along the line instead of deciding that art was a business we decided that creativity mattered more. We figured out some way to make being an artist a livable career without taking away from science or architecture or anything like that. Hell, they did it in Rome right? The point I’m trying to bring to light is that sometimes I wonder what crazy amazing stories we’d have if there weren't 10 Fast and Furious movies. What if they decided 3 was enough and moved on to a new, more ingenuitive film franchise. Some things are great for a sequel. Some things should just be let die.

Don’t Go Chasin’ Goth Girls
I'm a sucker for a goth girl in a plaid skirt. So much so, in fact, that it comes as no surprise that I ended up here, in this weird limbo or here as the poltergeist of a haunted playground that only shows up at a certain time. These things may sound all very vague… but that's why they call it an exposition, right?
