Why it's Okay to Breakdown Now and Then
Over the past twenty months, the pandemic has robbed us of a great many things. We have lost people, lost jobs, lost homes, and lost experiences of all kinds. Usually, I am able to stay strong, accept that we are all in the same boat and that one day this will all be over. However, there have been a handful of times when it has all been just too much. Writing - Passion Ignited
I have always had a passion for the written word. As a child, I was a bookworm in the truest sense. I could curl up for hours with a book, lost in worlds that allowed me to experience lives much different than my own. How to Succeed as a Parent
This year, my son, Eddie, started high school. He works hard and usually makes good decisions. He helps around the house, usually gets along with his sister, and is a responsible young man — someone we are becoming confident we can rely on. He made it onto a local competitive hockey team, has been working for me after school four nights a week, and secured a job at a local market on Saturdays and Sundays. He has been doing well in school (he knows he must in order to stay in hockey), and hangs out with his friends when he has free time. He’s a good boy (in my totally biased opinion).

Blue Monday - Marketing Genius or the Most Depressing Day of the Year?
For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere January typically feels like the looooooongest month of the year. The holiday season is over, the new year has begun, and we are just coming down from the month of December — for many, a month of parties, comradery, and general merriment. We are generous of spirit, in both our time and our finances.
