A Year Dedicated to Kindness
Kindness takes many forms, whether large or small. People can often get caught up in the belief that they cannot make a difference in the world because they lack the resources or means, but the truth is even the smallest act of kindness can make a world of a difference. No matter how insignificant it may seem to you at the time, your act of kindness, whether a warm smile, compassionate hug, gift, or donation, can lift others up when they are at their lowest. It can brighten their day and leave them feeling like they matter, that someone truly sees them. The last two years have been brutal for everyone, and everyone can benefit from a little extra kindness.

Serena rolled her shoulders as she made her rounds around the gym in the early morning hours. It had been a calm morning so far. Cocking her head to the side in curiosity, she pondered the strange sight before her. Instead of running around in the typical boundless energy, three of the kiddos were sprawled out on the floor in a circle. Serena slowly inched closer, hoping to decipher the meaning behind the unusual scene. It was a strange mystery to unravel; calmly having a powwow on the ground was abnormal gym behavior. As she quietly crept closer, the trio were unaware, completely immersed in their current endeavor.
