I have always enjoyed creating, whether it be art or stories. I have enjoyed creating art from a young age and have worked in a variety of schools. I adore anime & cats. We just adopted baby Tsuki/Tsukihime, my moon princess kitten.
Tsuki is quite the superhero. She arrived on the scene when we needed her the most this summer. Our fluffy kitty companion of thirteen years suddenly got ill and passed away at the beginning of the summer. It left a massive hole in our lives and hearts. Our home felt empty and despite knowing that she was no longer with us physically, we would often search for her. It was a difficult transition. The end of July came around and in waltzed Tsukihime, the nutty, tiny kitten with a massive personality.
Sweet Dreams (Serena)
Serena sighed happily, swinging her feet as she sat on the wooden bench. She was thinking about Karissa, her bestie, again. Karissa was a precious soul. Granted, she was rather serious, but she was kind and loyal. Serena couldn’t ask for a better friend.
Sweet Dreams (Karissa)
Karissa had always loved the peaceful fields. A field was a place where she felt calm and at absolute peace with the universe. Nature acted as a soothing balm for her weary soul. She stretched, basking in the sunshine and admiring the chirps of birdsongs.
2020 Changed Everything
The year of 2020 was a gamechanger for many reasons for many people. Life hasn’t been the same since. It felt like a wake-up call, and I’m sure I’m not the only one that heard 2020’s call. 2020: perfect vision. Much came to light, and it could no longer remain hidden.
Tsuki: The Precious Kitten Full of Love and Healing
Little Tsukihime, Tsuki for short (‘tsuki’ being ‘moon’ and ‘hime’ being ‘princess’), may be small, but she is mighty. A whole lot of love and healing came our way at the end of this summer in the form of one tiny, adorable kitten. Our previous kitty companion of 13 years suddenly grew gravely ill and passed at the beginning of June. It hit hard. It was completely unexpected. A void was left in our home, and nothing was the same. We would anticipate seeing our former fluffy cat waiting for us at the window like always or greet us in the morning for cuddles and food, but she was no longer here to do so. As anyone who has lost their furry companion can tell you, it hurts, and no words can adequately describe the sense of loss. Needless to say, it wasn’t a particularly fun summer. Tsuki wouldn’t stand for that, however; she found it unacceptable.
The Ken Saga
It all started with a doll. It was a joke; it wasn’t taken seriously by any of us—we just wanted a laugh. We never expected it to grow into the great shenanigan that it ultimately evolved into. Granted, it’s hilarious, but it was never our intent. We were simply looking for a fun way to pass the time and be creative.

Starlight and Stardust: Conversing with the Stars
Stars twinkled in the navy expanse above their heads, cool breeze caressing their skin. Crickets chirped in the grass around them, singing a summer symphony. Aside from the crickets, the world was blanketed in a hush, so starkly different from nights in the city. Tranquility lay thick in the air, not another soul in sight. They remained sprawled out on the plush My Hero Academia blanket, taking in the serene night sky for who knows how long, at peace with the quiet as stars continued to flicker overhead.
