"Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks." - Plutarch
You know how kids would always smile a lot When they receive gifts from someone Or when they’re happy for no reason at all?

Do you remember the days we laughed? Do you remember the times we smiled? The days when we’d lay down on the grass Looking up at the bright blue sky
Despite our arguments sometimes Where you had your bad days And I had mine as well Despite through the hard times
Do you remember the days on our old block Us running around and laughing As if everything in life was great And nothing would go wrong
When you’d look at someone or a picture of them You’d be reminded of your lost ones That’s how it was for me with you When I see or touch things
I remember the day when it all broke My world shattered in pieces And it all came crashing down The moment I lost control of myself
One day, I remember losing myself My feelings were broken When I went through my things I found the drawings that I kept
I recall going out with my friends One day when it rained outside Just for a while, it poured a lot Then a light drizzle
It’s an emotion inside all of us I am very well aware of that It’s not that I feel depressed Or anything like that But I do feel sad on some days
A cup of warm coffee in my hands I took a small sip As I gazed at the night sky before me Sitting by the window The world looks so peaceful
I am frightened at the thought of years passing by with time And with that, I knew either way I’d have to face the future in a few years from now
I remember the day when The world seemed to be too much Weighing on my shoulders Waiting to see if I could take it The damage had been done
