I am married with 7 children, 27 grands, and 12 great-grandchildren. I am a culture consultant part-time. I write A Poem a Day in February for 8 years now. I wrote 4 - 50,000 word stories in NaNoWriMo. I write on Vocal/Medium weekly.

Mom, The Boys, And Grandchildren
When I got home, I called mom right away. It was important that I wish her Merry Christmas and that I tell her about my quick trip to see my boy and his family and then to let her know why I went and why it was important to fill her in right away.

I was born and raised in Minnesota. I am an enrolled member of the White Earth Nation, my enrollment is removal Fond du Lac. My people on my mother’s side came from there, the land of the Gitchigummi (Lake Superior) I adore.

Are You A Fan Or Are You A Big Goose? Who Isn't A Big Fan Of Dr. Suess?
I heard there was a Suess week in March of 2020. I forgot this year and I missed it. His day was March 2, 2022. In honor of this, I am posting a poem I wrote in 2017. And on March 2, 2020, I wore my Dr. Suess sweatshirt and my green pants. I still have that outfit, so maybe a picture will appear someday!

Gifts From Co-Workers When On Leave Fighting Cancer!
I had just started work when a co-worker began telling me how she asks for forgiveness rather than permission as she gets more done that way! Then she said, oh, I suppose I shouldn't have told my new supervisor that. She was doing her best to orient me to working for the state. We laughed!
