My Review of "MTV VMAs 2020"
MTV VMAs 2020 tried to emulate their previous year's successes but it's a little tough when everyone is in quarantine. Or so they seem to be in quarantine. We all know in the back of our heads that there are a large number of these celebrities that aren't practicing proper social distancing and whatnot but they have to appear in public that they are.

My Review of "All Together Now"
All Together Now is a Netflix exclusive that recently came out. It seemed like an uplifting movie about a teen needing help. What I got out of this was a somewhat predictable movie but was more of an emotional roller coaster ride than I thought it would be. I think they did a pretty good job in depicting certain troubles that real people have issues with.

My Review of "Orígenes secretos aka.Unknown Origins"
Orígenes secretos aka. Unknown Origins is a Spanish movie that seems smarter than your usual superhero movie. They have a ton of different geek references that I'm sure everyone into pop culture can appreciate. I'm not sure everyone will get this movie because of this though. Fortunately I did know all of the references that they were talking about in this movie and I started to realize that a lot of pop culture really is pop culture. It's known throughout the world regardless of your country of origin.

My Review of "John Was Trying to Contact Aliens"
John Was Trying to Contact Aliens is a very unexpected documentary. It is extremely short so I thought it wouldn't hurt to watch it. From the description of the film it seemed as though there was going to be some sort of contact with something from space. I'm kind of a sucker for conspiracy films. What I got out of the film was entirely different. It almost seems as though this is one of the films that everyone jokes around online when they say Netflix will green light any proposal you give to them.

My Review of "Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn"
Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn is a really long title name for a movie. As you continue to watch the movie and learn about Harley Quinn you start to understand why they titled this movie this way. I think the hesitation to this movie is probably that everyone was a little sore from the outcome of Harley's previous movie called Suicide Squad. I didn't think Suicide Squad was an absolute dumpster fire of a movie but I don't buy into hype when I watch movies either.

My Review of "Zoolander 2"
Zoolander 2 came out in 2016 a full 15 years after the first Zoolander. I mentioned in my review of the original Zoolander that I loved the movie. It would come to no surprise that I would be pessimistic about the sequel. This movie taught me a bunch of things about pop culture that I didn't realize during my first viewing. I remember hating it when I first saw it and I can't really say that I actually like this movie now but I do see some redeeming qualities.

My Review of "We Summon The Darkness"
We Summon The Darkness is a very fascinating movie with a pretty interesting concept. I think it's a little bit wasted in this movie but could have been pretty good. There wasn't much fanfare with this movie and I only encountered it by chance. To be honest I wasn't totally mad that it came my way because I did like what they were trying with this movie.

My Review of "Zoolander"
Zoolander is such a brilliantly funny movie and I keep forgetting that until I re-watch this movie. This movie came out back in 2001 and I'm still laughing hard whenever I see it. Admittedly there are a few jokes in this movie that wouldn't work out in today's climate and I guess that's why we can't have comedies like this anymore.

My Review of "Rob Schneider: Asian Momma, Mexican Kids"
Rob Schneider: Asian Momma, Mexican Kids is Rob's new Netflix exclusive comedy special. The thing is, I haven't ever seen Rob do a comedy special before. I didn't even know he did stand up. We've all known him for doing sketch comedy from Saturday Night Live and a whole slew of Adam Sandler movies. This was definitely going to be something different from what we usually see from Rob.

My Review of "Work It"
Work It is definitely what you'd expect from a run of the mill dance movie. It's got all of the usual themes that you would expect from it. A family aspect, a relationship aspect and a realization of priorities in the main character's personal life. What makes this movie succeed is the animated characters that are brought to the screen by a dynamic cast of amicable actors.

My Review of "2 Minutes of Fame"
2 Minutes of Fame came out all of a sudden without too much advertisement. Then again a lot of Netflix exclusives come out like this so I'm not too surprised. It's a welcome addition to the Netflix library in this time of quarantine. It stars a lot of funny people so I expected it to be funny.

My Review of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D: Season 7"
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D: Season 7 was kind of a long anticipated season. It happened during the pandemic and what better timing for it to have happened. I haven't ever been a huge Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D fan but I have seen all the episodes of the whole series. I didn't enjoy all of them it was more of a thing to watch with my brother. Through the years I've come to know the characters and the backstories so the S.H.I.E.L.D family kind of grew on me.
