A Will or a Trust?
Since retiring, travel has become the one constant in our lives. We spend most of our time away from what we call home. We spend fewer nights in our traditional structure than we do in our motorhome. We travel without a destination or a timeline of when we will return.

Punctuating Quotations Cheat Sheet
Dialogue Dialogue is conversation between people. It consists of the exact words a speaker says and always has quotation marks and two other punctuation marks. It is a form of showing in writing that moves the plot forward while adding interest to the story. Compare the energy of genuine dialogue in contrast to a summary reporting the conversation.

Identify Proper Apostrophe Use
Apostrophe are those punctuation marks that look like commas (,) but hang in the air (‘). They are a source of confusion for some and frustration for many. When learning how to apply them in writing, the rules sometimes simply enhances the problem because there are two completely different purposes for the application of apostrophes.

Altering Point of View Allows Writers to Control Readers’ Knowledge
When a writer chooses who tells the story they alter the perspective. In so doing, the details change the interpretation, the very essence of the story. Point-of-view (POV) is the angle from which the story is told. Imagine a police officer recording statements from different witnesses at the scene of a car accident. Each would interpret and report the incident from their vantage point at the time, from their perspective.

Cool Grandmas Remain Calm
When I dreamed of being a grandma, the visions included pictures of my granddaughters learning to walk, cuddling them on the couch, and baking cupcakes. As they have grown there is so much more to enjoy: softball games, piano recitals, roller-skating, and picking out dresses for homecoming.

Traveling and Viewing Life Through Dogs' Eyes is Fascinating
When we set out on our two month trip to escape the cold, it was the first extended journey with both dogs. In the back of my mind, questions circled about how to do this, and will they like that. Now, I am glad to announce, “They did great!”

Top 5 Adventures to Investigate in Palm Springs
Living Desert Zoo We have visiting the Palm Springs area multiple times and always planned on going to the zoo but never made the time. Big mistake! The animals live in spaces created to replicate their natural environment. The pictures of bighorn sheep share their majestic beauty. Few times in life is it possible to enjoy their splendor. This was an awesome experience.

I Want to Give a Positive Review to Thompson RV — But I Can’t
Randy and I had been looking everywhere for a new-to-us RV. We were hoping for a 2018 or newer but had set a budget and didn’t want to go much beyond the set amount. After looking at almost every brand, we had settled on a Tiffin or Newmar. Both offered many of the same features but we preferred the quality of the Tiffin based upon how much the closet doors shook when closed among other things. To read about our new Tiffin, read this.

Roughing It Smoothly in Our Tiffin Allegro Open Road
We are part of the Tiffin family and excited about our journey. We purchased our rig in January, had some maintenance work done to it (that’s a different story), and hit the road in February. It’s been two months and we are having the time of our life.

Fortuna De Oro is to Adults What Disneyland is to Children
Sometimes I remember places and events inaccurately. Probably everyone does. So when Randy and I returned to Fortuna De Oro this year after a brief visit last year, I held my breath. We talked about it for months. Even convinced my brother and sister-in-law to make the trek and spend a week with us. Concern filled me that my memories had blossomed during our absence, and it would be just another over-advertised resort.
