PATIENT'S RIGHTS
Looking at the clock, the numbers stared back at me. The digital reading was 6 A.M. Trying to go back to sleep but was wide awake. It was Monday morning the 23rd of January. There was a priority task on my to-do list. The priority was to call my medicare advantage plan and speak to their customer service representative.

ALL I WANTED
This year was exciting because the medicare advantage plan that I selected included dental and vision. At the beginning of January, called the advantage plan's customer service representative. The customer service confirmed that my dentist of four years isn't in their network. Since that was the case, requested a pdf of dental offices near me. In a matter of minutes, received the email. Quickly, reviewed the lengthy list for general dentists. Found Dr. Kristin C. that was in the network.

SWEEPSTAKES
Twenty-five years! That's a long time. Submitting entries into the sweepstakes, this year marks the twenty-sixth year of complying with the contest's rules. Typically, the sweepstakes/contest last about two months. Entering HGTV's Dream Home Sweepstakes, for me, has become an annual event. This year, the 2023 HGTV Dream Home Giveaway will end on the 16th of February 2023.

ABYSS
"The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room." Reading the sentence for the second time, goosebumps run up and down my arms. My heart is racing with that Deja Vue feeling! Sweat rolls down my face. I am beyond tired.

LONGING FOR SPRING
Vibrant blue skies, days of "code blue" temperatures, when will Spring arrive? ******************************** Writer's notes: We are familiar with code red and code blue in a hospital environment signaling an emergency. When there is a weather emergency, and temperatures drop to 32 degrees or below, the Department of Homeless Services established a policy called "code blue." Triggering a "code blue," will give assistance to those that need shelter from the cold.
