Vibrant blue skies, days
of "code blue" temperatures,
when will Spring arrive?
********************************
Writer's notes: We are familiar with code red and code blue in a hospital environment signaling an emergency. When there is a weather emergency, and temperatures drop to 32 degrees or below, the Department of Homeless Services established a policy called "code blue." Triggering a "code blue," will give assistance to those that need shelter from the cold.
This blue haiku is submitted to the challenge.
