I think about writing more than I write, but call myself a writer as opposed to a thinker.

I wrote a bookTop Story - May 2023
Around a month ago I finished writing a book. It's a project I started in July 2021, and it took me nearly 2 years to get a rough manuscript completed. From the time I started the book to the time I finished a complete rough draft, I earned a master's degree and moved almost 800 miles away from the place I called home my entire life. I often discredit my accomplishment because "I should have done it faster." But I often neglect all of the things I was doing in between, such as raising a toddler and working odd jobs to get by.

Skinwalker
The snow outside had footprints, but I couldn't hear a soul in the silence of the night. The full moon rose above the hills, and the sharp sensation of cold ran down my spine. When I turned my back on the wilderness to go back inside, I saw a reflection of myself staring back at me, but this person had dead eyes.

Being Laid Off Sucks.
I graduated with my bachelor's degree in May of 2020 - In the middle of a global pandemic. That sucked. A lot. There were no jobs available in my desired field, so much to my dismay, I started working at restaurants again while I sent out applications on Indeed by the handful.

Why I prefer E-readers
I love books, and I have a lot of them. I even collect antique books of all kinds: from algebra textbooks printed in 1841, to relatively unknown fiction from World War II. However, I can't bring myself to read traditional books very often, and here's why.

AI Can Not Replace Art
A lot has happened with technology in a short amount of time. In 2022, AI art went mainstream. It infiltrated social media sites through third party apps, and there are now even filters on TikTok creating AI art in real time through the platform. It's been around for a while, but the sudden intrusion into our every day lives has left many people on edge, especially creatives. Is this technology going to take our life's work away from us? Will art still be profitable if it can be made by robots in milliseconds?
