Twists of Karma— A Cinderella Retelling
Cinderella's father died the second night of the ball, a three-day event for the King's son to find a wife. The woman who captivated the Prince the first day and escaped also ran off the second night to avoid him going home with her. He saw her run up a tree and hollered for Cinderella's father. Her father didn't know it was her when he chopped the tree down. It should have fallen away from him but instead collapsed on him. The Prince told his father it looked like a strong gust of wind blew it at the man.

Birds-Eye Perspective
It's warm out as I stand in front of my Gram's grave. The gravestone has a Mountain Bluebird. She said a woman should choose a spouse with the criteria of the female bluebirds. They are concerned with the area and condition of the nests the males provide, not superficial reasons. The image conjured flashes of stories and pictures from my inner slide projector.

A Poisonous Decision

Over the years, many stage names had been given. The man awaiting his new identity is five feet, six inches tall, with short charcoal hair and deep-set dark brown eyes. His broad shoulders match his muscular physique, his torso slightly narrower than his chest.

Art Form of Weaving Words
Besides being a mother, what fulfills me? That makes me feel alive as if I am created with a purpose beyond being a wife and mother? Writing is a way to tend to people in the forms of comforting them, easing their minds, taking them out of their stress zones, or merely stimulating their brain as a form of mental exercise, a passion that activates a bottle of energy within me.

Cute Animals that are Frequent Visitors in My Yard
There are perks to living out in the country. One being various animals and critters in the area, some frequenting your yard. A few of them set up their homes in trees, under buildings, or in the holes around the pond. I’m not fond of many known visitors or unknown visitors, but amphibians, most birds, and animals with fur don’t bother me. Even the squirrels are adorable to me as they run across the yard and up trees. Well, I could do without the minks or groundhogs. They cause problems that outweigh their cuteness.

Nostalgic Fashion Styles
From my nostalgic memories of old trends to comparisons to modern fashion and style trends. Basic Make-Up When I was in school and for a few years after, make-up was a means of smoothing out skin tones, concealing blemishing, and accentuating your features. You had concealer, foundation, blush, one to three eye shadow colors, lipstick, a thin layer of eyeliner, and mascara. Some also opted to use an eyelash curler. You also only needed a few make-up brushes.
