3 Reasons That Make People Lame Ride Share Riders
The trend in using Uber or Lyft in many cities across the nation has settled down, and it is the new norm to travel. Other ride share companies exist, but Uber and Lyft are the elite in this field of expertise.

Uber went live back in 2010 in San Francisco and in eight years, it has exploded into a multi-billion dollar company serving in several countries including Mexico, France, Taiwan and more. The app has undoubtedly made it easier and more accessible to find a ride home, which one would think is making a difference in drunk accident deaths. On its website, the company claims that “services like Uber are helping curb drunk driving.” Despite the company being available across the United States, statistics show that fatal drunk driving accidents in this country have not significantly decreased.

I’d like to think my love for cars started from birth, but that’s not entirely true. I grew up in a family who already had a love affair with cars. They loved the American classics, hot rods, and muscle cars. My family inherited a 1920s Pontiac from my late great-grandfather. To me, it was the “Bonnie and Clyde car” that sat in the garage collecting dust. We also had my grandmother’s first car, a 1957 Chevy Fleetmaster. I loved these cars because they simply don’t make cars like they used to. The huge couch seats, rounded body lines, and Art Deco accents really romanticized cars for me.
Car Insurance
So I don’t know how it is in other countries but in the UK car insurance is mandatory but has no regulatory body, which means insurance companies can do basically whatever they want to their customers.
10 Best Cars That Don't Depreciate
Normally, I don't like to think of cars in terms of resale value. Doing so, however, is actually a smart way to make your dollar go further. It may seem like a trivial measurement to make, but you'll thank yourself in a few years when you decide you need something new and you get that much more on your trade-in value.

It's often said that the moment a car rolls off the dealership lot, it'll lose about $1,000 in its value. Though this may not always be true, it's impossible to deny that cars depreciate in value with time.

The automotive industry is constantly evolving. The competitive nature of automotive manufacturing makes it a perfect arena for industry titans like Fiat Chrysler, BMW, and Toyota to develop new, vital, and novel technologies in their efforts to corner the car market. Some changes to car companies have come about in response to increasing safety concerns, while others have come about as a result of unexpected technological developments. Here are some of the most unexpected developments in the auto industry in the past few decades.

I worked in the insurance business for several years. First in customer service, then in sales, and finally as an insurance agent. The main thing that stood out to me was that the majority of people have no idea what auto insurance entails. They don't understand limits, coverage, or what all their options are. And how would the average person know without it being explained to them, which unfortunately doesn't happen nearly as much as it should. More & more insurance companies are stepping onto the scene without the option to sit down with your neighborhood agent. The main form of communication is a call center or an app, so it's becoming increasingly harder to come across agents who will take the time to make sure you understand the ins-and-outs of your policy. In turn this leaves people under insured and over exposed to all sorts of risks that they aren't even aware of. It is my hope to quickly and effectively teach you the basics of coverages, policy options, and even terminology as well as the pros and cons to 'liability only' coverage. I want to start by clearing up a common misconception. The term "full coverage" is very misleading and should not be used at all. What they mean by full coverage is that you opted to get more coverage above just liability. The correct term is collision and comprehensive. In all reality there is no such thing as full coverage. Every coverage has a limit. Also there are other options that are not always automatically included such as rental reimbursement, towing, and roadside assistance. I've taken countless calls from frustrated customers who just got in a wreck and thought they had full coverage.

This year, Japanese car manufacturer Mazda celebrated the production of 50 million vehicles in Japan. This impressive milestone demonstrates just how far the company has come since it started out in cork production back in 1920!

Selling your car is a time consuming process. It takes a lot of time and energy to sell your car privately on your own. But sometimes selling it to a dealer or to trade in your car is not ideal, as the dealer would have to pay a legal fee for purchasing your car, they would ideally offer your car a much lower value. So what is the best way to sell your car for the max? The way ahead is to find the best car buying company in United States.

As a woman, not a lot of men tend to believe when we say we know a little bit—if not a whole bunch—about vehicles. Which, I guess in our current world, men don’t expect women to know much about anything. Yet, like women, not all men know the first thing about vehicles or how to maintain them. Personally, in my relationship, neither of us know much about vehicles, but needless to say, I know more. No, I don’t know how to change rotors, breaks, or much of anything, but unlike my man, I at least know when it's time to start paying attention and get things checked. There are a lot of things I know that make sense, like I know when it's time to change the oil but I don’t know the first thing about coming about it.

Recently, I had a car accident. Car accidents are very sobering things. They are the kind of events that make you realize where you are in life, how quickly things can change, and what you really, truly wish you could have known beforehand. My car accident totaled my car, and gave me a wake up call I very much needed.
