humanity
If nothing else, travel opens your eyes to the colorful quilt that is humankind.
Ms. Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Adults.
If you are like me...then you spent your childhood lost in the metaphorically amazing and wonder-filled many rooms of Ms. Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children. If you are like me...then you spent a lot of your time trying to find the way to the world of the "UN-PECULIAR"... instead of just accepting and enjoying the many virtues of your charming gift of peculiarity...

"There Are Wolves Up There!"
My professor friend K and I went for a hike to the mountains around the town of Mestia in Svaneti, the highest region in Georgia. We wanted to see the Koruldi Lakes near the glacier at the foot of the two-peak Ushba mountain of the Greater Caucasus Range separating Georgia and Russia.

My Mediterranean Odyssey:
I have had the good fortune to travel all over the world, experience different cultures, and visit a great many historical sites. Earlier, I wrote about my travels when I followed in the footsteps of Alexander the Great ; after seeing Christopher Nolan's film Odyssey , I decided to retrace the steps of Odysseus in light of the journeys I made across the Mediterranean Sea, which brought me to a point where history converges. The present account is not meant to be given in chronological order since my visits to these places took place over a period of 20 years, starting when I was living in Germany in 2004 and began traveling and exploring. Rather, I am portraying myself as a traveler searching for a way back home and, at the same time, gaining knowledge and insights through my experiences.

Twenty-Four Hours in Pelham.
If someone asks where you grew up, you'll probably answer with the name of a town. Ask what made it home, however, and the answer becomes something far less tangible. Home isn't merely a point on a map or the address where you spent your childhood. It's the smell of salt air drifting inland on a humid July morning. It's the distant whistle of a commuter train, the pizzeria where everyone knew your family's name, the streets you could navigate without ever looking at a map, and the quiet certainty that wherever you wandered, someone would recognize you before you introduced yourself.

The Wisdom of Open Country
When people think of the American heartland, they usually picture cattle grazing in open pastures, endless fields of wheat and corn, or a lonely boring stretch of interstate that seems to go on forever with only dirt and livestock on the horizon. To many, the prairie is simply the place you drive through on your way to somewhere more exciting. It has become known as “flyover country,” as though its only purpose is to feed America and give travelers a quicker route to the mountains or the coast.

Principle
A Global Perspective on Brand Identity Is the First Architecture The first breath of any brand is engineered identity. Great brands aren’t built from trends — they’re built from identity. And identity often reveals itself most clearly in environments that refuse to perform for you, environments that simply are . Barcelona is one of those environments. A city that widens reality, confronts perception, and reminds you that infrastructure can be imagination and culture can be connective tissue.
