Amsterdam is known for it's hard core partying, however, there are many thing to see while you are there. But, first somethings you should know: 1) if you are looking for coffee you will not find it in a coffee shop, but you will find it in a Koffee shop. It's the coffee with the capital K that you are looking for the ones that are spelled with a C sell recreational drugs such as marijuana. 2) Bike everywhere you need to go. Amsterdam has a huge biking culture, the bike rentals are found anywhere and always lock up! apparently some people like to get drunk and throw bikes in the rivers, so be careful! 3) If you do plan on partying make sure it is close to a hotel or hostel so you can be safe and not sorry.
