Finland Explained
Hello, everyone I started a new project/newsletter on Substack: Finland Explained . I didn't know how to let everyone know about it, in case you want to support the project by becoming a free subscriber. In Bruges (and Ghent)
Bruges had been on the bucket list for a while, ever since I watched the film with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson. Because, despite Farrell’s character’s very clear reservations throughout, it really is a “f***ing fairytale town!” With its canals, beautiful medieval architecture and Flemish culture, it really did look like a number 1 European destination.

A Bit Of The Titanic In Alnwick
Introduction Fiona told me that the White Swan Hotel in Alnwick contained some artefacts from the RMS Olympic which was the sister ship to the Titanic. On checking It turns out that the main dining room (Olympic Restaurant) is effectively the First Class Lounge from the ship which is identical to the one on the Titanic.
