That title is a little deceiving, because if I'm going to be honest with myself (and all of you), I know little to nothing about raising children. I've been doing it for only 2+ years. They're eight and three and I'm their guardian. While sometimes I blame this lack of "perfection" on not having a natural motherly instinct from being prego, and getting swollen feet, irrational cravings and feeling kicks and tumbles from that alien inside me... after being around the sun twice with these little gremlins (I mean angels), there are a few things I feel as though I have come to perfect.
As any cat owner knows by now, cats are essentially nocturnal creatures. Whether they are getting random bursts of energy and running all around your bedroom or biting your toes, this nocturnal activity can be disruptive to their owner's sleep. These nightly disruptions can take a toll on a human's health and productivity due to the lack of REM sleep. As cute as your pet is and as much as you love them, you no longer need to sacrifice your precious sleep time to keep them entertained. With these tips, you can curb that activity and even start training your cat to sleep when you do.
Before I was perfect. I was happy about almost everything. The one thing I didn't enjoy was school. There were very few people I knew that enjoyed school, so I was still normal. I went out with my friends. We were still young though so our parents would drive us around. Galactic bowling was our favorite pastime while getting kicked out of Walmart was one of our favorite challenges.
