Cancer
As I sit outside, and stare at the beautiful sky while the sun is beaming on my face, I ponder on life, I realized that the love my life is currently battling stage 4 Bile Duct Cancer, medically known as Cholangiocarcinoma. This battle begins to consume our entire life.

Now I don't want to spook you, but there's a chance that our entire Milky Way galaxy is located in the so-called space void. it's a vicinity in which there's notably little reliance in comparison to different corners of the recognized universe, and it's much less dense than it is elsewhere within the universe. In other words, we might exist in an air bubble in a cake. If that's true, it would mean that we're even lonelier than we thought.

MY GREATEST FEAR Actually, my only fear. * Illogical or not, many people suffer from some sort of phobia. There are also many that do not.

When I was a little girl, I wasn't yet acquainted with poetry. I didn't even know what literature was until one day when I stumbled upon a poem in one of the newspapers at home. From that moment on, I fell in love with poetry and the poet. I had just entered the second grade, I was very young, and perhaps I didn't fully understand the poem, but it opened doors to a new world for me. The author of that poem, Orhan Veli Kanık, became the first poet I loved in my life.
Say My Name
I can't even begin to wrap my head around the absurdity of the situation I just found myself in. There I was excited on the opening day of the exhibit called “Her Voice, Her Vision” for Women’s history month amongst the diverse array of artwork created by talented female artists, only to stumble upon my own piece, Liv Love, proudly displayed among the others.

There are women who inspire me with their compassion and determination. British activist Helen Bamber was one, working with young Holocaust survivors at the end of the Second World War, when she was little more than a teenager herself, and once in the UK creating the charity that we now call Freedom From Torture. Leah Tsemel is a more recent example – the Israeli lawyer who battles for the rights of Palestinians again and again, and is defeated again and again, and still keeps going. But I have never met either of these admirable ladies. The dragon I want to talk about is someone who has been with me in body and spirit for over twenty years of my life, and her support has enabled me to stretch out my hand and support others.
