My Life as a Born Again Culinarian
I went to culinary school because I love food. But not just any food. I love greasy homestyle comfort food that mama used to make. The real version of Southern cooking, not that Ree Drummond crap you see all over. The Pioneer Woman ruined culinary for me honestly, but thanks to a few select people, I managed to pull through.

Dealing with Uni Stress
So, today I did a big step and applied for university. I’m so nervous that I won’t get into anywhere and I’m sure many feel the same, but, don’t fret, these are some of the ways I deal with the stress and how to take my mind off things. I have anxiety so I understand how horrible it can feel to doubt yourself. You are amazing, there’s no need to put yourself down by thinking they won’t want you or someone could be better than you, the only person who can get you where you want to be is yourself and you have to strive to achieve the things you want in life.

Finding My Niche In The Business World
Like many others, I had finished school as a two time graduate. I made my mother proud but after College I really was lost!! I got a job working at a hospital as security in the Emergency and Trauma unit, along with studying for my Corrections Exam and working as a Bartender, Server and Manager at a restaurant. I know what you're thinking... how did I manage all that. Truth is i'm not quite sure myself, I just did it. I worked day shifts at the restaurant, took a nap went to the hospital from 7pm to 7am and studied on my breaks. My days off weren't really days off because that was when I found time to go to the gym, study and pick up extra side gig jobs. I was a MESS!!

6 Things You Will Want to Know About Local Government Trainee Solicitors
Trainee solicitors in local government are somewhat unicorns in the legal world. One will find themselves asking if they do really exist and if they indeed do, how do they look like or what do they do all day long. It is not all about bye-laws and committee meetings, ya know. Believe me when I say that we do exist and I feel the pain of your curiosity. So, I shall try to speak for all current trainee solicitors in local government and educate you on who we are and what we do. Here are six things you might or might not know about our special breed.

Able
Have you thought about the power of the word ABLE? Able is a word we as individuals should consider daily. We are able to do many things throughout the day but we must choose. We all have the ability to perform certain task or activities but do we choose to? This is a mindset that we as individuals must adopt in our daily lives. As mentioned, choice gives us power of life or death. We can choose to live and be action-oriented or we can choose death, not being able to feel a level of satisfaction in our life. Therefore, we must be intentional about what we do and how we do it. Knowing that we are able to do something is the start of being intentional. What are those things you are able to do? What is holding you back? These are questions we need to constantly ask ourselves.

How I Went from D's And F's at Midterms to A's and B's at Finals
I was stoked about starting college. My room was packed up 2 weeks before I left, I had created a Pinterest board full of decorating ideas, and my roommate and I had already been able to get to know each other pretty well. Come the start of school I was a social butterfly, going from room to room introducing myself, meeting new people, and making what I thought were going my life long friends. Classes start up and things became more difficult. I would spend a little time now and then getting work done, but my new friends always had something going on: a party, a gym session, a game night, you name it. I decided that I could prioritize my friends over school work and be able to slide by in my classes, but I was so wrong.

I'm Going to Be an Art Teacher
I'm currently attending college to obtain a degree in Art Education. Yep. I'm going to be an art teacher. I've always loved art and would love to simply be an artist, but I also see the potential that becoming an educator has. Not everyone else sees what I see though. I often get met with questions like these:
