*I always wondered why my mother had walked out of my life. I always swore that I would give her the third degree about it (so to speak) when I would eventually meet her. Because growing up I figured that someday I would see her again. Whether it would be standing over her grave or face to face. Truthfully I never knew back then whether she was dead or alive. And now that I have met her part of me wishes that I haven’t and no she never did answer. I still don’t have the answer as too why she left me. All I know is that in life sometimes things happen that we aren’t responsible for.*

‘Riverdale’ Recreates the Iconic Milkshake Shot From the Archie Comics
Riverdale, as many already know, is hardly a stranger to fan service. Last season, the CW’s execs and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa graced us with gratuitous shots of the cast in their classic Archiecomics wear, as supplement to an equally gratuitous throwback scene straight out of Jughead’s retro-colored nightmare. The scene, despite lasting only a few minutes, felt phenomenally nostalgic, and each accompanying shot that followed felt nothing short of eye-candy.

What If John Goodman Isn't The Villain Of '10 Cloverfield Lane'?
A Hitcockian thriller and some of J.J. Abrams' greatest work. 10 Cloverfield Lane is this year's best thriller. With a cast of three (Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Gallagher Jr., and John Goodman) it was always going to be a close-knit affair. Locked in a bunker during an 'apocalypse' it soon turns out everything isn't all it seems. John Goodman's turn as the chilling captor/rescuer Howard quickly labels him as this film's big bad, sure Howard made some bad decisions, but what if he wasn't really the man he is painted out to be? SPOILERS AHEAD!
