The Pet Goat*
Once upon a time… There was a goat. Not the best start to a story that is going to try to appeal to adults and anyone young enough to expect a lot from it, but please let me continue.

Global Demonstrations Erupt in Support of Jailed Russian Critic Alexei Navalny on His Birthday
Thousands of people in over 100 cities worldwide rallied on Sunday to show their support for Alexei Navalny, a prominent Kremlin critic who remains imprisoned. This marked Navalny's third birthday celebration since his incarceration. The demonstrations, spanning from Tokyo to Sydney and Tel Aviv to Milan, aimed to express solidarity with Navalny and call for his release. While facing the possibility of an additional 30-year prison sentence, Navalny's supporters believe the charges against him are part of an attempt to silence Russia's most vocal opponent of President Vladimir Putin.

In a recent incident, a Chinese warship came dangerously close to colliding with a US vessel in the Taiwan Strait. On June 3, the USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) and the HMCS Montreal (FFH 336) were conducting a routine transit when the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLA(N)) LUYANG III DDG 132 (PRC LY 132) executed unsafe maneuvers near the USS Chung-Hoon. The Chinese warship violated maritime rules by getting as close as 150 yards (137 meters), prompting the US vessel to slow down and alter its course to avoid a collision. This incident follows another concerning event in late May when a Chinese J-16 fighter jet performed an unnecessarily aggressive maneuver while intercepting a US RC-135 aircraft over the South China Sea.

The idea of India joining the NATO-Plus framework, an extended security arrangement including NATO and its treaty allies, has gained traction in American policymaking circles. This proposal aims to enhance global defense cooperation and counter China's influence in the Indo-Pacific region. However, before India embarks on such a path, it is crucial to examine the implications and consider the country's unique positioning and aspirations.

Since alive, might as well be like water, dribs and drabs are real life. Often listen to you sigh with emotion, a person is not lazy, also not vulgar, more a lot of talent, but not necessarily live. This trap is always tormenting you, causing you to fall, often after a brief insight, into a deeper ignorance. From then on your locked brow originated a long river of sorrow, only in the meteor sky with strings in exchange for their own lonely story. You say that the young heart will not open an umbrella into such as crying rain, only in the morning will not wake up in the swaying of the millennium dream. This time, though you are still a mountain, is premature desolation. Your wandering experience has convinced you that youth is just a black title told by the night. However, this should not be your whole story, because your bright eyes still prove the early spring rain, you should shake off a body of wind and frost in the flying rain, with your thin fingers on the earth to write: I thank life, believe in the future! The same is the silence for the preface, this time your book opened a new plot, you get up to the strange grass island, let the sad clouds on your face slowly into the sky, you carefully drying the wet youth, let the youth become a proud song, gurling into the ears of The Times. I saw your flowing long hair to absorb the strong wind, heard your life in the bamboo forest rattling, so you really began to learn to laugh, learn to live, learn to silently carve a passion, a faith, a kind of upward power in your young heart wall. Life, need to slowly precipitate its value in the warp and weft of time and space, although at that time the universe silent, heaven and earth do not wake up; Life, also should be beyond the twilight of the day after the start again, so that all the flow of blood and enthusiasm, re infected with the sun's brilliant and heavy fingerprints.Since alive, might as well be like water, dribs and drabs are real life. "Do what you must, do all you can, break all the fucking rules, and go to hell with Superman..." --Bad Religion People believe that nihilism is a destructive, pointless philosophical toilet bowl, wherein people who "just don't give a fuck" just...don't give a fuck. Actually, it's quite liberating. Once you realize the futility of earthly endeavors, the relatively brief period in this world in which you have to live and shine and define yourself, and deceive yourself into believing that, ultimately, anything you do here will matter after they shuffle you under the earth--an inexorable eventuality for every man and woman walking the face of the planet -- liberates you, somehow. It frees you from the petty, self-deceptive boxes you're commanded to choose to live in (but not with too much choice, really; there is only an alternative between Acceptable "A" and equally Acceptable "B") by a society that will otherwise rubber-stamp you as one of the "bad people." But even the "good people" get shoveled under, brought down by the relentless march of time.
President's First Priority? Aliens from Outer Space
