Life Without a Two-Party System
Since the invention of the United States, we have had a two party system. This article is practice, or a dry run rough draft for a piece I'm writing for Salon about how to get rid of the two party system altogether. The Republicans are the obvious bad guys, at least the ones who aren't members of Republicans for the Rule of Law. There are bad Democrats out there too, who serve corporate interests, not the people. Vote by mails is something Republicans for the Rule of Law can get behind. I'm not necessarily that conservative though as I believe in a woman's right to choose, and equal work for equal pay, something we have precious little of in the United States at large right now.

Between the World and Me
Although stereotypical treatment of African-American people seems to be a relic of the past, the reality proves another habit. In the book Between the World and Me, Ta-Nehisi Coates discusses the violation of black people's rights based on racial prejudices. The literary work is written in the form of a letter, which is addressed to the writer's son. Thus, the author transmits his vision of the current situation to the next generation pondering on the issues of police violence and racial injustice. Furthermore, the images of sexual assault on African-American women together with other effects of white supremacy demonstrate that the racial oppression remains topical nowadays. Additionally, the book provokes disappointing feelings about the modern American society, treatment of black people, and the freedoms they desperately struggle for. Therefore, Coates' work shows that while the fight of African-Americans for their rights continues, themes of racial injustice, police cruelty, and the inaccessible American dream are the reality of the modern United States.

Clone Dictators of North Korea
Clone Dictators of North Korea? North Korean dictator Kim Jong il's long awaited journey into the assuredly horrid fiery afterlife waiting for him is now a reality. Thoughts of him being roasted slowly yet eternally, hog tied on a spit while myriad minor demons rectally abuse him with pineapples dance merrily through the relieved heads of nearly all South Koreans, escaped North Koreans, and most the world's heads of state.

What Happened To The Quick Bounce Back That Was Predicted
In a way, the UK should have been the best-prepared country for the destructive force of Covid-19 on the economy. Throughout 2019 hardly a day went past without someone reminding us of the dangers of a cliff-edge Brexit.

Can you be a Christian and a Liberal?
Being a christian liberal is like being a conservative atheist. It's almost an oxymoron... Liberals get the stigma from conservatives that they're dangerous because they don't have a higher power to look up to. In fact, some conservatives even view fellow conservatives who are atheist as an attack from the left.

Crumbling Walls
I have come across a recurring theme in cinema and music over the past few years that has really changed the way that I view authoritarian systems. The most recent viewing that drew this thought process from the back of my skull is the anime adaptation of the manga 'Attack on Titan'.

I am anti-Socialist/Communist
I have been asked many times, (More times than I care to count) given my current financial circumstances, why I am so Anti-Socialist/Communist. Well the answer is simple, because I love freedom. I want the freedom to choose for myself what I will do, if I want to become rich I can. If I want to stay the way I am, that is my choice as well. If I choose to believe there is a God, or if I choose to believe there isn't, I am free to do that. If I choose to speak on anything, I may do so without the fear of being attacked. You see under a Constitutional Free Market/Capitalist system, I have that freedom. I have the freedom to fail or succeed, if I have the skills and determination to succeed. But if don't have them, then I will fail. In a Free Market/Capitalist system it's all on me, fail or succeed, it's all on me.
