coping
Life presents variables; learning how to cope in order to master, minimize, or tolerate what has come to pass.
The Power Of The Breath
Did you know that you breath is the fastest way to calm down when you are feeling dysregulated? Nobody is immune from stress, regardless of age and we all have one thing in common - we react. How we react to stress is different for everyone, but there is a simple way we can all calm:

How Climate Anxiety Is Reshaping Life Decisions . Top Story - April 2026.
The saying that the future is in our own hands is ever so true, and climate change and concerns for the environment is a thing. The concept of Eco and Climate Anxiety is so real. On this, the entire world was brought into a war with Iran from the 28th of February 2026, where uncertainty is reigning over access to fuel (particularly diesel for agricultural purposes). Not only does this "fuel (and possibly energy) crisis" change people's behaviours and actions; it is also impacting peoples deep psyches and their mental health. WiFiTalents reports that 60% of adults in the US confess to having a little to some level of eco anxiety.

Burnout
Burnout does not arrive dramatically. It does not kick down your door and announce itself like a breakdown scene in a movie. It slips in quietly, wearing the clothes of ambition, responsibility, and “just one more push.” At first it looks like dedication. Then it looks like tiredness. Then it starts eating your memory, your patience, your joy, your libido, your immune system, and your ability to feel anything except dread. By the time most people realize they are burned out, they are not just tired. They are altered.

Breakups Can Be Mirrors, Not Just Endings
One of the hardest truths I’ve learned is that healing from a breakup is not really about the person who hurt you. At first, it feels like it is. Your mind becomes obsessed with them: what they said, what they did, what they failed to give, what you wish you had said differently, and whether things could have ended another way. You replay conversations, revisit memories, and search for a final explanation that will somehow set you free.

Caring for Your Mind Should Be a Daily Practice
Mental health rarely collapses all at once. More often, it fades quietly while we keep going. We answer messages. We go to work. We keep showing up. We smile when needed, make plans, pay bills, and try to act normal. From the outside, everything may look fine. But inside, something is beginning to shift. We become more irritable, more tired, more anxious, more numb. Small things start feeling heavier than they should. We lose patience more easily. We stop enjoying what once made us feel alive. We withdraw, overreact, or hurt ourselves and others without fully understanding why.

The One Who No Longer Absorbs the Bitter. Content Warning.
Please excuse the use of metaphors, symbols, and mythic writing. Please excuse the music I created with my own voice. Please excuse the AI generated metaphorical images of ancient times. Please excuse my filmmaker background. Please excuse my age of 76. Please excuse my abiliyu to want to keep learning which includes AI. Maybe I should crawl back in my 'dark night of the soul' depression. Pease excuse my love for science fiction, art, film, eccentric, and creating too many videos from visions I saw in my dreams. I know the majority of writers on this platform hate AI. So, the stories I create will not be read because you do not believe a 76 year old hippie child could create such nonsense. I do not write for naysayers and anyone who avoids being progessive. I have always been on the cutting edge of technology. I am a REAL LIVE HUMAN BEING.

How Art Became My Lifeline After a Breakup
During one of the hardest periods of my life, creativity became more than a form of self-expression—it became a means of survival. I am far from alone in this; a vast body of evidence supports the healing power of creativity and art. History, too, is filled with examples that speak for themselves.
