It's not a terrible question to ask, "How to be unique?"

It is quite strange to live in a world where people are praised for being like one another. Nowadays, it seems that everyone has the same body, lifestyle, emotions, and thoughts. While it is desirable to be relatable, individuality is essential. You can still have connection with others while being unique. Modern society encourages similarity but it can also hinder our well-being. While it might be beneficial to capitalism, it is not good for us. Someone is making a profit from this unhealthy scheme if we all seek the same things. Recycling our souls and our perceptions is a big problem for our true selves.

How to pursue uniqueness

Individuality on Social Media

It has been refreshing to me in the past to see an affirmation on Instagram that expresses exactly what I feel with words I couldn’t find. The obsession to understand leads us subconsciously to adopt the mindsets and beliefs of others. We all want to be seen. However, it should not be the case for most of our feelings.

Before we can develop our own ideas and sentiments, there are so many things that are put in front of us. The internet community is a place where you can do very little thinking for your own good. Social media can be a great place to recycle your soul. I urge you to be more mindful about what you consume.

You need to be creative outside of social media. Inspiration can help us grow, but we can also be our own inspiration. Our uniqueness is also our sacred art.

How to be Unique Put into Practice

These are some ways I find my own stride.

  1. Choose a day or two each week to not use social media. This allows me to let my thoughts rise to the surface, and allow them to mature.
  2. Remark on posts that resonate with you and save them. A more intentional experience is possible by reducing impulsive re-shares.
  3. Look for creative ways to make your everyday life more interesting. (I will treat myself to delicious and colorful meals, have fun choosing what to wear, and engage in creative activities.
  4. Social media is a great way to stay connected offline. (Enjoy conversations with people around you so you don't rely solely on social media.
  5. You should research things that catch your attention on social media.
  6. You can also find inspiration through other avenues. You can read books, travel or watch films.

Uniqueness is our strongest tool and it makes us stand out from others. The world would be so much better if all committed to being themselves. can be you, no matter what your personality is. It is important to understand how to love yourself beyond being someone else's cup. All the different flavors of the world are a blessing from God. You can be a different person and have something to offer that we have never seen.

Being original is key to becoming a leader and standing out in a way you cannot imagine.

Sometimes, reviving aesthetics and trends can be easier than going deeper and removing personal layers. Empowering oneself is difficult and can be a daunting task for many. Authenticity is more fulfilling than imitation. You can replicate a vibe you've seen before, but what do you have to share with the world? Pretty Birds, it is important to be true to ourselves in order for us all reach greater heights and achieve better results. You have more creative ideas than you think. But, it is important to have your own thoughts. Dave Grohl famously said, " Nobody is you, and that's your power."
