The NBA is known as the highest temple in basketball, where players have either extreme talent or unique brains or skills to earn a spot in the Dragon Den. It's much harder to become a superstar in the league, let alone a superstar in the league.

The classic yellow-green matchup of the 1980s, in which the Los Angeles Lakers, led by Magic Johnson, faced off against the Celts, led by veteran Larry Bird, has always been remembered by many veteran fans. Larry Bird is also known as the "king of trash talk", often in the game with excellent brain and ball skills, with unique trash talk to destroy opponents. So when it comes to Larry Bird, everyone loves his trash talk stories.

Although Larry Bird is the league's biggest player in the past, he had a history that he didn't know about before he became famous -- he once worked as a Garbage Man to make a living.

Larry Bird was born in West Barton, Indiana, on December 7, 1956. Although he was born to a white family, Byrd's family was not rich. On the contrary, he had a very poor childhood.

Byrd's family was one of the poorest in the poorest town at the time. Byrd had five brothers and sisters, and only two parents supported his family of eight.

Larry Bird was born in French Lick, Indiana, and grew up poor. His mother worked multiple jobs to support Larry Bird and his five siblings. Growing up in a broken home, Larry Bird was forced to quickly learn to be independent and take care of his family after his father, who was often an alcoholic and had a difficult relationship with his family, divorced his mother and committed suicide less than a year later.

After attending a local college, Larry Bird married his childhood sweetheart, Janet Condra, and had a daughter. But the couple separated after less than a year of marriage, leaving Larry Bird with the responsibility of caring for their daughter. But Larry Bird, who was poor and still in school, needed to find a job to support his family and his daughter, so he decided to quit school and become a street cleaner to help pay the bills.

However, Larry Bird did not stay in this job for long. Larry Bird's talent for playing basketball was soon discovered by Indiana State University head coach Bill Hodges, who invited him to join his college team. At first, Larry Bird refused, but with Bill Hodges' good tongue, he finally convinced the street sweeper to join his basketball team, and then Larry Bird shone on the college basketball team. (Three-year college stats: 30.3 points, 13.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 2.6 steals per game.)

Larry Bird was a street sweeper, but he didn't take it personally, and he said in an interview that he actually enjoyed it: "I loved it. It's outdoor work. You're surrounded by friends. Picking up the trash and then cleaning it up, I feel like I'm accomplishing something important. How many times can you be in your own town, and you can say to yourself, you can take care of this garbage? Why don't you clean the whole street? And I have that opportunity now to make my community a better place."

In foreign countries, blue-collar jobs are highly respected jobs, such as cleaners, workers, etc., and their salaries are often higher than those of white-collar workers. In fact, there should be no distinction between noble and inferior jobs. Can only say, can become a big thing, are not limited to small people.
