We live in a world of never-ending competition surrounded by numerous pressure groups. In our world everyone is running behind money, someone wisely said “ time is money”. Money is all we want!!!!!. The race behind money paved the way towards ruined relationships and misery. We ignored our physical And mental health at the cost of money. Some people suffer from chronic anxiety without any particular Trigger.

As per the World Health Organisation report of 2017, there are nearly 264 million people around the globe who are suffering from anxiety. This number itself shows the clutches of this mental health condition, Which encroaches on our physical and mental well-being.

Why It Happens

Scientists are still not sure why anxiety happens, it depends on many factors and situations. Usually, small stressful moments lead to anxiety or when a person feels that he failed to achieve something or is not able to meet the required expectation perceived by him or by others.

There are many types of anxiety mainly

Social anxiety

Generalized anxiety

Panic disorder

Obsessive-compulsive disorder

PTD for Post-Traumatic Disorder and so on.

Anxiety symptoms differ from person to person. Some of the common symptoms of anxiety are

Headache

Chronic fatigue

Insomnia

Social isolation

Depression

How To Overcome Anxiety

1. Self Love- First learn to accept yourself as you are. God has made everyone unique. Don’t ever think about yourself inferiorly. Always try to find good in yourself and Be grateful.

2. Positive Thinking- I know, it seems easy to say, to be positive in a negative situation. But willful efforts can make this happen. Always try to look at the brighter side. Don’t repent over the things which are not in our hands.

3. Exercise- Exercise is a proven way to get rid of anxiety. Doing regular exercise can shift your focus and attention from the things that are eating you.

4. Healthy Diet- Always try to incorporate a healthy diet, avoiding alcohol and substances. Always have a big chunk of a vegetarian diet. Having a healthy gut always helps to improve concentration and focus.

5. Meditation- It is one of the oldest techniques to cool your mind from bombarding thoughts. Meditate regularly for at least 5 to 10 minutes.

6. Breathing Exercises- Mindful breathing can help you to get rid of anxiety. Practicing at least 5 minutes of deep inhaling and exhaling can do wonders.

7. Getting Social- Always try to get out of your room. Don’t sit idle and sulk. Always share your thoughts and feelings with your family and friends. In this way, not only you can get help and can overcome anxiety easily.

Anxiety is not a disease, it is a condition which we can overcome. It not only benefits the individual but helps in building a healthy and loving society.
