Regardless of the occasion: weddings, bachelor party, bachelorette party, corporate event, birthday, anniversary or something else drink is almost always a part of the equation provided the party is at least partly geared toward adults.

Sure, beer will do the job, some people prefer wines, and still others mixed drinks. But, if you want to make an event truly memorable from a beverage standpoint, none of the above will do it; you need champagne. Sadly, the very word sounds like and in fact invokes dollar signs when spoken or read. It's true that champagne can be extremely expensive. But thankfully it is now also true that there are many options for an inexpensive yet enjoyable bottle.

The trick is to find the bubbly that is both enjoyable and not over-priced. For sure easier said than done, but luckily for you we've done some of that work for you.

Roederer Estate Brut

Clocking in at around $22 on last look, this California sparkling champagne has a taste-bud grabbing flavor to it that's difficult to explain. Roederer Estate Brut offers a mix of toasty and nutty flavors with a second punch of citrus pear and green apple. With a flavor profile like that and a price that can't be beat this bottle is a great buy for anyone looking to impress while remaining on budget.

Mumm Napa Brut Prestige

Mumm Napa Brut Prestige is a combination of two all-time favorite styles, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This champagne style wine, like the one above prices out right around $22. Flavors of creamy vanilla melon and citrus pop from the bottle. To make it even better this champagne finishes smooth and rich.

Barefoot Bubbly Brut Cuvee

A can't miss bargain priced at right around $11, this funny named wine is no laughing matter when it comes to its flavor profile. Barefoot Bubbly Brut Cuvee is a chardonnay that's sure to please even fans of dry wines, this champagne produces flavors of peach, jasmine and green apple.

Argyle Brut 2011

Priced at around $27 this is one of the higher end wines on our list. A sophisticated and well-respected champagne, Argyle Brut 2011 features a complex and balanced flavor profile with just a small hint of sweetness. Coveted small bubbles are the trademark of this blend as are hints of citrus spice and toasted brioche.

Gruet Blanc de Blancs

Checking in at $16 this entry on our list hails from an unusual home; New Mexico. Considering NM is covered in desert, it is hardly a hotbed of wine and champagne production. But Gruet Blanc de Blancs breaks the mold. This sparkler features pear, apple, and tropical fruit at its core and is a product of Gruet Winery which has been gaining some recognition in the industry as of late for the mature flavor profile, and affordable price point of its products.

Korbel Chardonnay Champagne

A masterful blend of traditional table wine with that champagne feel and flavor that wine drinkers love, this incredibly drinkable champagne features pear and apple along with a buttery finish in its profile. Priced at $14, Korbel Chardonnay Champagne brings great value to the table (ya pun intended).

Martini Prosecco

Priced near $17, this Italian blend is not generally thought of as a toast champagne for weddings, but hopefully, this article helps to change that. Martini Prosecco offers a nice mix of fruit flavors and sparkle, it finishes crisp and clean.

Poema Brut Rosé Cava

Like Prosecco before it, Poema Brut Rosé Cava is not commonly thought of for weddings (the most popular occasion for champagne), but it should start earning some inclusion. Priced around $13 this Spanish product offers a tasty blend of strawberry raspberry and rose petals not to mention an eye-catching color.

Verve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label

Ok, so I sort of misspoke earlier when I said all would be under $30, all but one are under $30; this one. A favorite of many, this wonderful champagne will run you around $57 but is well worth the splurge. Hailing from France, Verve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label offers a happy medium between the dry that is often preferred by wine connoisseurs, and the sweet generally preferred by beginners, this mix produces an incredibly smooth creamy flavor with a toasty finish.

Freixenet Carta Nevada Brut

From the most expensive to the least, Freixenet Carta Nevada Brut will only set you back about $9 and man what a deal! Light and slightly sweet, this Spanish product offers a great value to customers with its refreshing blend of fruit and vanilla flavors.
